I think the gameplay could use some more polishing.
I ran out of rolls against the gnoll and was softlocked, but I like this! I've never played Mario Party but from what I've seen this is like a simpler 1-Player version of it with some more strategy involved. Great concept, good execution!
I've never played D&D before so this kinda was like my introduction to it. haha! I like the concept of me getting to choose my own die roll and hoping that it works out for me when i move. simple idea. Did run into a small bug where I couldn't play any further when I ran out of dice rolls in a battle though. it happens.
I was a little lost on how the game works at first but I saw your screenshot with some explanation and it became more clear. Some mechanics are still a little confusing (what is the roll dice of the enemy, what are the consequences of loosing or winning a combat, some effect of some cards), but managing our dices to face random event event in both exploration and combat quickly become really fun. I think there could still some improvements in the mechanisms for making the game really addictive (may be sharing the combat dices and the explorations dice to have more challenge and uncertainty, being able to get some dices with random values after a combat instead of just refilling automatically the 6 values, ...) but it is already a good base for a nice idea !
The concept is super strong and the visuals really suit the style.
The idea is really strong, the concept of resource management that comes in with the cards. The visuals were pleasing. I could have done with a little more gameplay. It felt like my actions were having little consequence after a point and I wasn't really required to think tactically.
Love it!
Love it!
Nice visual and sound! The mechanics are a little bit confusion, but great game!
Great concept, controls were a little hard to figure out. Not sure if the cards are supposed to be clickable in battles.
Really good concept, has a lot of potential! Good art design too
Cool game
not sure what the catch was, i just kept picking the highest roll
Nice take on the theme!! It's some dicey dungeons vibes mixed with a board game. Combat was a bit confusing, I didn't understand the relation between dies and cards at some times. At the end I ended up stucked, since I died but kept playing. When I reached the final boss I list immediately and was stuck rolling dices without moving. Really Nice entry!, (also art is really great!)
I love the colors and style. The movement and cards are a great start, I'd love to see more of this.
Good job!
The concept behind this is really cool - I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it before and it could be really fun as a full game.
Unfortunately, there were relatively few interesting decisions to make during my playthough, as the solution for how to use your dice rolls optimally was usually obvious (I say it this way because I got trapped on the map and couldn't do anything - I'm not sure if I made it to the end or not.)
I enjoyed the board-game style. Nicely done!
I love the concept and the graphics are wonderful! well done!
The pixel art was really nice. Also when I reached the End of the board, I was still playing but not moving because I was at the end. Might be a bug, But I really liked your battles with cards stuff :D
Nice Job :)
