Really like the look of this game, and it's a really nice fit! I like the lofi hip hop beats to relax and prune bonsai to feel of the music too! Kind of clashed at the end of my run when i was clicking frantically lol but I got pretty far! Really nice job!
Very nice and relaxing bonsai trimming game :D Music and visuals are also great!
PS: I trying the jam games and tweet about them. I will tweet about this one as well! Check it out: https://twitter.com/TheAntonSem/status/1283837283339309058
What an amazing concept, this might be my favorite game so far!
The ability to zoom out on mobile would be appreciated, I couldn't see the whole tree. Otherwise, a really nice original idea and nice graphics.
Really cool concept, visuals were really nice but there were few problems, first buttons in the menu were a bit too small, i had a bit of trouble with selecting the right opition, also i wasn't always able to cut branches by tapping on them, worked like 50% of the time, and also game was getting pretty slow when near full chaos, but overall solid entry, and it's pretty cool that you implemented mobile version (one which i played)
Its just a clicker but it has a bonsai, it has a cool graphic design and its funny, but i dont know if it fits the idea of caring of a bonsai and out of control at the same time, but i can see the effort put in this game so congratulations!!!!
I got sad when my bonsai died, I took care of it, but everything has an end, like the life of my little bonsai. I like this game!
wanted to play it on andrioid, but i am not sure if i can unzip the file
you should be able to open the zip like a normal folder and install the apk directly from inside the zip without unzipping it. at least on my device this worked.
I had to open it in file explorer, not in Google downloads tan for it to work
Very charming game! Love the aesthetic and the relaxing atmosphere!
Nice game! I would recommend to add the possibility to move the camera further from the bonsai as it can be difficult whe branches grow too much to see them.
Overall a superb game.I loved it.🥰🥰
Nice little game, good esthetics and little thing that just felt good: When starting new game and all branches flew off. Cutting was bit janky if didn't notice that new branch had started to grow, but overall nice game.
The graphics are amazing but gameplay for me (Android user) was a bit challenging. I didn't know I could rotate around the tree and doing so wasn't easy. As the tree grew bigger it got more difficult to see new branches growing to cut back. It soon became a case of just swipe repetitively until the game ended.
I like the game idea and style and it makes good use of the theme.
Congratulations to those involved in making this unique game
I LOVE Japanese culture and art! well done guys!
AAA standard graphics
Very pretty!
Great little game, and the aesthetics are fantastic! I played on Android and it ran great, even if the touch was a little less responsive than I'd have hoped. Overall, very fun and a lot of personality. (I got to Bonsamurai 😎)
beautiful looking game! I like the risk vs reward of wanting the score to go up faster without it getting away from you. Nice game! :) I played on Android and it worked great.
Awesome little game. Tried playing it on Android. It runs smoothly, but the touch is a little bit off.
Still a very great game, and incredibly suitable for the theme.
Was the intro splash art done by your team? If so, massive kudos, it looks amazing! I also really enjoy the game concept; interesting spin on what is supposed to be a very controlled activity. Nicely done!
Hi Waterpouch, Yes the splash art was created during the Jam.
