Really nice art and good take on the theme. The game is a bit to easy once you figure out how to use the special (literally got them in a corner and could survive indefinitely, I reached 500+ point that way and could of had more).
Overall though, it's a good execution for a twin stick. Maybe have a fixed wave system instead of an infinite game loop.

The creations(enemies) of the Plague Doctor are out of control; The player can't control when or what kind of basic shoot will be shoot ; The enemies multiplies until it became out of control.

- player needs for abilities, like a dash to not get trapped in a corner

I created a shader using the shader graph of the Unity to create the effect in the hearts and everything else. This shader allows me to take a texture and make something like a sprite mask, but a sprite mask that can be animated and more efficient (I guess, because the tests I've made before using sprite mask for this effect was a real mess) .
And thank you again for the compliments! It's really nice to see when someone likes our games!
It has really good visuals, audio, and most of all gameplay. There is something satisfying while playing it. I like that enemies sometimes wander around and as long as they are on arena - they are getting much more faster.
I like the simple arcade style gameplay. On top of that, the graphics have this very charming style :)
Thank you so much! Good idea! I'll try to put some collectable (maybe the special shoot ammo) after the jam ends... I tried to think in something to make the player stops running in circles making the enemies a little more unpredictable, but it this didn't worked so well... Thank you again for your suggestion :)
To be honest, all of the enemies are exactly the same hahahaha until 2 hours before I submit the project they was even with the same sprites hahaha they speed up if you don't kill them. Make they really different is certainly something I want to make in the future, like the blue ones flank you while the red ones just go to a random position....
