The art is great! A little bit of sound would have been awesome.
It's really hard to play though. Or I was just to stupid :D
Cheers, Laura
Art style is great. Lacked some sounds and music (That changes a lot).
Game wast too hard for me, i'm sorry... even easy mode was unbelievably unplayable due to the difficulty.
seems like a cool idea. there was no sound though, and no enemies showed up, which left the entire experience a bit hollow. Also like the art, but maybe decide on a singular art style. Now it seems like you have 3 diffrent styles running through eachother.
The blue orb is a bit frustrating, other than that this is pretty solid. Good job!
Specially to the artists. What a good submit you all made.
Thanks! It seems we have a technical issue regarding the blue orb. It's supposed to give "slippery ice" effect, but on some computers it makes the player slide about 1-2 tiles as intended, while on some other computers you slide up to 10 tiles which renders the game unplayable. Maybe a framerate-dependant issue. We'll add it to the (long) list of bugs :)
this is such a fun game! i had some trouble actually figuring out what the effect of some of the orbs was, because to me it at first just felt like "makes you walk weird" with every orb, maybe it would have been helpful say, what the orbs did in some way, because i lost *a lot* just trying to figure out how an orb affected me. but i still had a lot of fun, especially after i finally understood what was going on! the art is GREAT and you got A LOT of content done in 48 h, you definetly have my deepest respect for that :D
Thank you very much :) the artists did work very hard and put out some amazing content!
We lacked some time though to fully finish this awfully-large scope game. We're lacking VFX, feedbacks, tutorial explanations, and there's lot of bugs. We actually even planned for it to be a multiplayer game. It makes a lot more sense played in couch coop. But we never had time to actually implement that.
Lesson learned: scope small!
What a lovely game! It took a few times to understand each orb and had fun trying to figure them all.
The 'how to play' wasn't clear enough but the game was easy to pick up. Great job you can see a lot of effort was put into it.
I would appreciate it if you'll have time to check out my game.
Thank you very much :)
It's nice that you stuck around trying to figure out what we failed at explaining (mostly becuase of the lack of time and overly ambitious scope on our part). We're lacking VFX, feedbacks, tutorial explanations, and there's lot of bugs. Lesson learned: scope small!
I will check out your game :)
I wonder what the demon is going to be using these yoga balls for. All in all, really digging the color scheme and aesthetic of the game. The gameplay is also quite dynamic with the different effects that the orbs have on you. They were disorienting but not frustrating, adding a bit of a fun challenge. Really impressed with you guys :}.
Beautiful game! I love the art style and the idea for the game is great --- fits the theme very well too! I think some audio would add a lot in terms of player feedback, but there is only 48 hours after all.
Also, I could not figure out how to work with the blue orb at all. It was much harder than the others!
Hi and thank you!
The blue orb suffers from a bug and is supposed to be much easier to handle. Here is a video showing how it actually works on my machine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itEzOkfLnfw
We may fix it in the future.
Great presentation. I think this would be most fun as a couch multiplayer game.
