NICE GAME!!! Loved playing it!! And this has the potential to become a full game!! I just have one concern. I guess you wanted the game to be fast-paced but it didn't seem that fast!! The player's speed and the jump height is not that high. But nonetheless great game!!! :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your review. While playing it you should be able to notice that slide gives you additional speed, so you can just slide and jump over and over again to gain pretty nice speed

Nice one, had fun playing. Good job! :)

Really cool entry!

I especially liked the level design which allowed some cool stuff to happen. Especially at level 2, were you could speedrun the beginning (by crouch + jumping), then using the slowmo to shoot at the barrel during the jump... felt great! =p

Also it gave me nostalgia of some flash games I used to play with stickmen like this haha!

Difficulty ramps up really fast though :)

Well done, nice game!

Really fun!  Loved the exploding barrels -also tricked first enemy standing next to one into shooting the barrel and blowing themselves up xD  Great work on this!

The game was so fun it was like a vector+Fancypants adventure mix , reminds me of those good ol flash games , but the movement of the player is kind of slippery but nonetheless very cool !

This is a really fun experience! The levels are very well designed and everything is just so satisfying. I have no complaints on the juice and audio, very pleasing to the eyes and ears. Although the movement does feel kinda wonky at times but it was still fun nonetheless. Great submission overall!

Good game!

The level design is pretty good. You need to work on the feel of the movement, for such a fast game it feels kindof sluggish and a bit unresponsive (might also have to do with the animations, they're important!). The jump is also a bit strange, feels like gravity suddently pulls you at a weird timing.

Not a bad game though, pretty fun!

I think the movement could use a bit of work, especially on the wall jumps since I kept on thinking I'd stick and then jump rather than have to jump straight awake or lose my ability to bounce. The enemies are also kinda antithetical to the whole "go fast" feel you're going for since they're way too accurate, but pause before attacking, making the best way of dealing with them to stop and back up so you don't get hit.

The visuals were nice, and the audio fits quite well, I think you did a good job on that aspect of things.

Good game. The death animation is really smooth... and it happened mostly of the times ^^ Gj

I love this!

I think the overall design is very clean, and I especially love the juicy explosion sound effect, it really adds to the satisfaction of the gameplay.

I have to admit, I'm very bad at platforming, so it was a bit tricky for me to advance much further than the first area of the level, but I still enjoyed the experience.

I think this is an awesome base for a really fun full-fletched game, and you should definitely put more time into this after the game jam!

Good job!

Love fast and hardcore platformers! Good level design

LOVE IT!  I love the sliding and slow mechanics

Fun game! The controls took a bit of getting used to, but feel pretty good once you understand them. My biggest gripe was that the lack of a jump animation made the platforming (and especially walljumps) a bit awkward due to the lack of feedback. I also would have liked some kind of indicator on the slide cooldown(?), as that felt a bit unclear. Otherwise I had a lot of fun with this one

It's very good, but jump force is too little, also slide button shouldn't be near left hand. But it's 5 stars.

Fun game! The physics were a little bit slippery, and I think the slide button should be moved to somewhere else on the keyboard or be a mouse click. It was pretty frustrating on the second level to dodge the swinging mallets and press the Left Shift key with my pinkie. I wasn't able to beat the second level due to the part where there's a jump pad and a column of spikes with little room to aim precisely up so every time I got to it, I died immediately.

Outside of that, I think the game was pretty fun and I like the challenge of the first level, as well as the barrel explosions. I think the scoring system is also really neat and I can see a speedrunning community emerge from this game if it gets further expanded and developed.

A really really neat game. The explosions are what dreams are made out of.

Nice game! It maybe needs a bit more animation and polish but a solid entry.

Nice job! Solid concept and game design!  I had a bit of difficulty getting a hold of sliding since it was so sensitive but it definitely fit the don't stop theme! I personally wish the progression could have been a bit slower because it felt like there just wasn't a place or time to learn the basics of the controls, especially the slide mechanic

Thanks for you review! The game is meant to be replayed to score higher and higher so I just designed 2 levels and thought that the player would naturally get some familiarity with the controlls over time but maybe I should create some real tutorial level
