That was a lot of fun! Really fun idea and I loved the ending x)

Holy bretzel this is cool! I has some "No Legs Jenny" vibes from the last juice jam!
Kudos for the art style and especially the player is ridiculously funny!!!
Found a bug though: a bomb exploded on me in a corner and little timmy got stuck forever in the walls of hell, without having the chance to even die. Sad... :'(
Juicy indeed!!!
But maybe there is too much juice some time because I couldn't understand exactly what happened on some occasions. Also it would be nice if the objectives weren't displayed on the grid you're playing haha
Also, is there a reason the game starts zoomed out that much? x)
It was short but fun :p
The concept is interesting, and the implementation has a good amount of juice!
However I think there is a lack of options to protect yourself, because it didn't seem we could hide the soldiers, or avoid getting destroyed by the enemies from afar (aside from letting the army below us get shot by the gunners before taking up the rest of the ennemies).
My victory cost me 196 men :p
Thanks for your feedback! We were a bit afraid that the story was unclear but seems it worked!
It seems you're not alone to dislike the mushrooms ^^
For the offbeat problem, did you play on Firefox ? We experienced sync issues with this browser when we tested. If it is not the case, do you think some sound elements caused this? We tried to be careful with not putting sounds on offbeat, but maybe we missed something!
I think the base idea of punishing the player on missed shots is cool (and also really suits the theme of the jam!), but the movement is way too fast (i'm always getting into ennemies), and the bullets do so little damage, to the point that a single miss can quickly be a problem: a miss => more ennemies => more shooting => more misses => more ennemies => death x). It snowballs very fast!
I think it may be worth it to elaborate on the concept, with more polishing it could be fun!
I think the game has some potential to be really cool with a bit more content (tower upgrades, more ennemies?). The simplistic black and white art style works well with the background music also.
The waiting time between the waves is a maybe bit unnecessary, as you don't have anything to do during this time.
I think you can have a lof of fun elaborating on this ! :)
Good thing the change of weapon is mentionned in the page because the pistol does not do any damage haha. I laughed so hard after one shoting the monsters with the melee weapon tho!
Fun background, reminds me of my maths lessons !
I think there is still work to be done in the balancing also, they are a lot of ennemies at once since the beginning! (but maybe I'm just bad lol)
Hello!
Just tested your game, and I think the camera behaves a bit weirdly, which makes the game a difficult to play.
It would be easier if the angle of the camera was fixed I think, as you can still see everything that happens on the screen even if the camera doesn't rotate in a top-down view.
The idea of exchanging actions for time is cool tho!
This game is amazing. Just loved it!
Really addictive, really good progression system, nice visuals and nice music and sfx, what can I say? Just the right amount of juice, without being overwhelming, really great!
The only thing I'm sad about is that I was going to high score this game (116830, wave 14), and it crashed :'( (webgl version). I think I would have stayed too much time on this game if it didn't crash haha.
Edit: the game crashed again :'(. Do you think you could upload a native (windows? linux?) version? I'd happily play it!
This game is so relaxing, any inspiration from Stardew Valley? haha
Really cool yet simple concept, it is also strangely addictive! Would be nice to have even more upgrade to automate stuff. I got up to approx 4000 gold. Is there anything more effective than farming roses?
Good job, its a cool game!
Edit: got "definitely too rich"
Hello!
Love the concept of pay to win lol
I have accumulated gold for at least 3 wins, but I couldn't spend it!! Please give me my money back!!
I think the game could be improved if the music was in sync with the beats to press. Also, as it is not in sync, you have to permanently look at the top of the screen, and cannot watch what happens elsewhere (fortunately if you stay at the left of the screen everything is OK because you become super OP once you get a certain level of combo!)
It was funny to play anyway, good job :)
Hey!
I just tested the Windows version.
Unfortunately I have not been able to land a single hit :'(
Maybe there should be some feedback on when to click (I tried multiple times to click anticipating the 5th beat, but nothing happend, except a sound that seemed to indicate that I failed something ^^).
However, the simple vision of this octopus serving juice with this animation was worth the download!! Loved it!
Hello!
Good job with the graphics and animations, they looks really neat!
After the second upgrade (2 x shotgun) I started to think that I was really OP. But then I quickly get overwhelmed haha:
The only complaint I have is that I didn't notice whenever I got hit, a bit more JUICE should be added there!
Good job!
Hey ! The game looks really good, impressive use of Stable diffusion for the assets, I wouldn't have guessed!
I like the concept, however it becomes rapidly overwhelming to handle all the social stuff along with the music mixing, guess that's what like to be a streaming DJ :p
Also, just a detail: it should be nice to support non QWERTY keyboards in your game.
Looks like a flipper game but where you actually play the ball, and can throw yourself on your own. And with more colors and screen crazyness haha!
The juice is here, and the concept is nice. Also, just an idea: when you collide with the walls, it would have been nice to see some gradual increase in pitch when you do combos :)
Cool entry!
This feels crazy to play haha!
I like the concept of the score getting high when you don't shoot, especially since don't shooting also removes the slow-mo (or in this case, not-crazy-fast-mo). Personal best is 5s, it seems it started to accelerate suddenly at this point, which made me insta-die lol
The screenshake is overkill, but maybe that's the point, right?
Fun entry!
The gameplay is simple but the way it is made makes it interesting! I really like the atmosphere, graphics, and animations of the game!
I found some bugs however (maybe these are features?) :
- If you shoot arrows too fast, it seems they collide with each other and get destroyed before reaching ennemies.
- Keeping an arrow charged without firing it can be used as a kind of melee attack, which makes the player almost invincible =p
Also the screenshake is a little bit too much JUICEY. ;)
Good work!
