Very cool game!

I found it very "busy" both on the audio and visual side of things, unfortunately.

Incrementing the difficulty over time or score could have helped ease the player into the game a bit more, I think.

Visually compelling yet simple, can't really complain. Inverted controls mess with my brain though, lol. Also absolutely flabbergasted that you coded the music by hand as arrays, that sounds painful!

That was trippy!!

My high score was 20! It got quick pretty fast, I couldn't keep up and it became hard to react in time to dodge the black circles (thinking they were white)

I agree the game is good. The thing I don’t like is the music, too repetitive in my opinion. Also the instruments are not the best. For the rest, the game is good and liked that effects :)

Mind-blowing stuff - the only bit of feedback I can think of is that it becomes really hard to distinguish between collectables and damage objects at higher speeds, making it a bit hard to proceed past a certain point without getting lucky (unless I'm just missing something, haha). But the effect is really cool, especially on the Gameboy!

I think this is a really cool concept! I especially like that you stuck to the Gameboy's original programming language.

Such a mind-bending effect! The obstacles are readable but the wormhole is also trippy and intricate, which you can tell is exactly what they were going for. The original version is a better fit due to colour differences, but that is no fault of your own, this jam is all about palette limitations. The music is a little stale, but that's my only real gripe. You still succeeded to demake this game properly and it turned out great!

Crazy how a few circles can make a tunnel effect like this. Nice use of simple shapes to make a cool-looking game! Soundtrack gets repetitive fast :( but the game itself is solid!

Thanks, I had to code the soundtrack by hand in arrays in C so it was going to be short! I'm just glad you played it long enough to find it repetitive!

The 3D effect threw me for a loop at first... I had no idea what was going on. Then I hit the 'wormhole' and it made much more sense. I remember playing Project Wormhole back in the PS1 days. I really like the pseudo 3D effect here. I'm pretty bad at this, but it's a cool implementation.

Reminds me those old Sonic minigames where you run through a tunnel. I'm suprised you managed to capture the 3d effect :)
