I really liked it, it's easy to play and understand. The only thing that did give me a bit of a hard time was the camera angles. Overall a very good game.

I’ve made some fixes to the camera issue ,really appreciate you pointing it out! If you get a chance to play it again, I’d love to hear how it feels now. Thanks so much for your feedback! 😊

The dungeon crawler puzzle aspect is really good, i like that you used rhymes for the hints it was a neat touch. The aesthetics fit really well too. I agree with the other feedback about the camera control though, I haven't used Unity in years but there may be a simpler camera you can try instead of the Cinemachine one, I remember having a similar issue before and I changed the camera but can't remember exactly. Overall a good job though!

Developer

I think I should give fixing the camera a shot. I wanted to learn how to use Cinemachine, but it seems to be causing quite a bit of trouble.

Overall pretty good. A little confusing which way you need to go (after death etc). Love the look and feel of the game. Overall really enjoyable and a solid entry!

Developer

I've been working hard to fix the Cinemachine camera and am still at it. Hopefully, I'll be able to resolve the issue soon. Thanks again for your comment—I really appreciate it!

Cinemachine can be a real pain to use!

The game is pretty good. If it was improved a little bit, I think it could sell. The story is okay, but the camera angles are a bit confusing, but not very much.

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback and for playing the game! 🙌
I’m really glad you enjoyed it overall. I agree , with some polish and improvements (especially to the camera and story flow), it could really shine.
Appreciate the encouragement, and I’ll definitely work on making it better post-jam!

It's a nice game and yes checkpoints would be great) Try to look at you Update loops something makes game too busy calculating unnecesary things. I'm guessing it's a spikes animation but I'm not sure.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and for the helpful feedback! 😊
Totally agree  checkpoints are definitely on the list for future updates. I’ll take a closer look at the update loops and see what might be causing the extra load (and yep, those spike animations might be the culprit ).
Really appreciate you pointing it out!

That’s cool! I just wish I had more lives to use at the checkpoints. GG! 🔥

Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it! 😄
More lives at checkpoints is a great idea — I’ll definitely consider balancing that better in an update. Appreciate you playing and the feedback. GG! 🙌🔥

Awesome game! I had a little trouble when starting the third level the camera was facing backwards so I accidently walked back out the door and it returned me to the beginning of the previous area, but I had fun playing!

Thank you so much for playing and for the kind words!😊
Really appreciate you pointing that out , the camera issue at the start of the third level is definitely something I’ll look into and fix in a post-jam version.
