Hi, I played your game. I found the link on the Godot subreddit and I really like the art style.

I think this might be the demo version with basic controls, or maybe I’m doing something wrong. Anyway, it reminded me of Hollow Knight vibes. I got the build some time ago, so maybe your newer version is updated. I recorded the video a while ago, but uploaded it after some days because I didn’t have time to edit it.

Wish you good luck with development, and I’m looking forward to the full release.

The puzzles are very unique, and I like how you added hints to avoid frustrating the player. The music and SFX also add a lot to the game’s unique vibe.

Hi, I really enjoyed your game! I like the art and the effort you put into the levels.

As a suggestion, it would be really useful if the player could look down when pressing the down key (like Hollow Knight), so the levels can be revealed without blind jumps.

One thing I noticed was the Shift key triggering the Sticky Keys warning on Windows after pressing it several times. You might want to assign a different key for that. (Happened to me, maybe check if others experience it too!)

Yeah, it’s kind of like a tutorial-style game. I had more ideas to expand it, but I ran out of time.

Wow, I really like the art style. the character animation is cool, and the tools on the belt are a great detail. The camera movement during fast running feels really good, and overall the game is relaxing.

If I had one suggestion, it would be about the red circle, it feels a bit off compared to the rest of the color palette. Maybe making it an outline circle or adjusting it to a slightly pinkish red could help it blend in better. Just a suggestion!

I'm really glad to hear how the game made you feel. You're absolutely right, one life can sometimes be another's food, and that's how natural cycles often work.  (like the ecological issues caused by rabbit overpopulation in Australia)

As humans, I believe we have the unique ability to choose how we act within those cycles, and that’s the beauty I wanted to explore.

I actually spent less than 10 days on this, since I was also taking part in two other jams at the same time. From the beginning, I wanted to make something around the idea of karma, but due to my time limit, I had to keep it simple. I definitely believe this concept has room to grow and expand further.

I disabled herb interactions until after speaking to the Guru because, story-wise, you wouldn’t know you need them yet. Once the Guru tells you about it, it makes sense to collect them.
I’ll check out your updated version too!
