Brilliant wee game, love the roguelike concept with the choices adding to the next level really clever way to increase the difficulty each level by giving the player the choice. The aesthetics & polish are brilliant too such a cute wee guy. Optional add on would be adding to the players score for each enemy they booped. Overall awesome job!
Nice concept that fits in really well with the theme, a fun addition could be if the Quartett provided buffs or special abilities that were required to get through the next puzzle for example if one of them actually gave you the ability to shrink, which would be required in order to progress the level & then the next giving you the ability to Jump and so on. Adds a bit of functionality to them then once you have found them all you move onto a more complex level where you need to utilise all of the Quartetts abilities to complete it and get them Home to safety or wherever the story progresses to. Could be like pokemon meets platforming haha but yeah really nice concept, good job!
Nice one, thanks a lot for checking it out!. Did you manage to find the upgrade fire where you spend essence? It unlocks two perma upgrade options, an explosive shot & a multi shot. As a way of giving the weapon more functionality but yep this was more of a vertical slice for the jam. I am planning a new long term project kind of like diablo meets roguelike style gameplay so any feedback from here will go into that. Anyhoo thanks man, i'll check out your submission as well!
Took me a little bit to get to grips with the mechanics and what I was doing, with placing the food on grass but after that wee learning curve, the second time around was all good. Well done on implementing those mechanics, must've been tricky to get right. Overall it's a brilliant job with a lot of polish, especially within the time frame. You guys done really well ^^
I'm a noob to these types of games so I agree with the others about the learning curve & needing a wee guide. The aesthetic are really neat though and I like the story idea & how you've matched the Tiny World theme. Gulliver's Travels is also such a fun movie so I was definitely attracted to trying this out when i seen Gillivers haha. Good job!
