Cute decision to have the shield be the snail. I managed to skip the beetle by getting hit in the direction of the cliff. Felt unintentional but almost made sense in an ants world in a silly kind of way.

That spider was a bully and got what it deserved! Really fun entry, I particularly loved the animation, I could tell you put a lot of effort in and it shows!
Also, the sound design is so cute and perfect, great game!
Beautifully well done. The movement seems stiff at first, but as soon as you jump some leaves you get a feel for it and it is just right. The combat and platforming just hit right and I can see the base for an interesting game here. The art for the ant is really smooth, kudos for whomever did it!
Fun game! Love the cute noise that it makes when you jump, also the big spider was kind of scary. But good job in making this game!
A neat entry with some fun visual storytelling. I died trying to kill the fast red bug a few times. Sound effects and background music was on point! Good work.
Fun game!
I really liked the animations—the spider jumping on you and shooting you far away was a cool touch. The controls could use a bit of work to feel more responsive, and adding a background would really help with the atmosphere.
Here’s a trick I use when I don’t have time to draw a full background: I find a small pattern drawing, repeat it, and apply a parallax effect—it usually works well.
Great work!
Nice use of the theme. The spider was a bit easy to cheese once I got everything, but for a game jam submission, very well done!
Spiders ahhhhhh, jump mechanics you get used to after awhile, good music and sounds and cute art, well done!
This is a really cool concept! I love where you went with the story. I found the music, particularly with the snail encounter to grab my attention, but other times it felt a little like a corporate training video — though still well composed for sure. Like others, I struggled with the jump mechanics but eventually got it. I would love to see what this game looks like with further art and narrative development. Solid work here folks! Can't wait to see what you make next.
This was a fun game to play as others mentions the controls were interesting, but love the vibe.
Nice work. I found the jump mechanic a little bit annoying at first but it works with the game pretty well and looks hilarious.
Good fun, cool plot to follow. I missed getting the jump boots but I will JUMP back in to try this out at some point!.
