Another game that made me despair for what we do to our surroundings :( great game, especially loved the picture of the beaver family to tug at the heart strings

Well done, great art, great music. I thought I had to eat the trash so it wouldn't reach the familiy (maybe it was just me lol). Love the details, cute menu, great job overall!

Gotta steal the other guys comment and say "Dam Good Game!" as well haha but really that was fun! I was really vibing with it getting into a rhythm. Let me know if you want some chill music to add to it, and longer tracks. I did the music for my game!

Also, the death sound effects scared the shit out of me I loved it. Nice detail letting the river slowly flood too.

Dam good game. Great job with all you made from scratch for this jam! The game was not super challenging, so I did not get to appreciate the detail of changing the music as much, but at least the beavers survived.

Cute idea. I quickly found I could stay near the dam, swim back and forth and often get enough wood that way to keep going.  The beaver was able to go under the side banks, so I had to control him more which added to the challenge bc there wasn't a hard bank to auto bounce him back into the river. The scream lol.  

Very impressive that everything was made from scratch! The low poly assets looked great, the gameplay was very original, and I liked the fact that instruments were lost as you lost family members. My biggest criticism is that I did not see a reason to swim away from the dam, and just dodged the trash and collected the logs and food as it reached me, which made it quite easy to keep everyone alive.

Cute and sad! The sound of the family dying is really uncanny  and surprised me :)

Great art and fun story. Left me for wishing more gameplay mechanics for the amount of hp you have. Also that scream lol.

Very cute and well done 2d art! Sadly, it leaves me wishing the actual game could match. Personally, I would recommend at least making the 3d world more vibrant. I also found myself mostly staying near the dam and wishing the camera was behind the family and looking upstream. Would also be cool to see the character movement more smooth and not be able to go through the side of the river or the dam. The only other bug I came across was after collecting some logs then turning and moving, the log drifts away from the player character while remaining "attached" to him. My last complaint is to make the images and section headers on the itch page smaller, or at least not as tall. The huge difference between them and the body text is pretty confusing. Nice visuals though and super cute background!
