The sprites and SFX are really cute, and the fact that your 7-year old created them for a game jam makes it even more fantastic. I really liked it; you should definitely keep developing more games together!
Thanks Spontini, we will! I hope he wanna do other games with me :)
I really liked it! After I figured out that I must actually press the button to allow me to set a trap, I finally died after 9 and a half minutes by my own traps :-P Well done!
GG! I have to rework the UI because many people missed the fact that this is a button :) Thanks for playing!
Just really cool and a lot of fun for such a "simple" mechanic. Really well done and a special congratulations to Louis!!
Thanks Melon! Louis is very happy with your comment :)
I lasted 2 minutes and had to give it another go.. managed to get 3 traps down next time around and was dominating lol Good Job!
A very nice game! I survived a total of six minutes.
Quite addictive gameplay that speaks to my need to build stuff.
I also loved the art. would love to see more of it. Hope you continue working on it.
Thanks Dark Soul, yes I will, I just wait for the end of the jam to get the most feedback out of this experience :)
I loved that all the sound effects are self-made. Gave the whole game something personal and many sympathy points! Cool game. Good job!
Thanks CeyKie! I have to give another try of your game if you plan to update it, post me!
Cool game, great job guys! The sound effects made me laugh, they added a very unique touch to the game and i'm sure that you had fun recording them :D
Have you experimented with a bit less of movement speed? That would help when you need precise movements to sneak through.
Cheers ;)
Thanks csf91! I think we will make other games with my son. Many players have reported that the player speed is too high, and that is true! I think I'll lower the default speed in a near future but I have to wait for the end of the rating period :) I'll lower the speed and add a push to run on shift, something like that. I also wanted to add some kind of stamina bar that consumes on build and run.
nice art , and sound effects , I found the mouse pointer a little difficult to see at times
Thanks! I made the cursor red because that's complementary color to green, but I'm open to any suggestion :)
I loved playing your game! The best part was definitely the sound effects those were unbelievable :) The trap mechanic felt very satisfying, and the art style was very charming and fit the gameplay. Great game!
Thanks Eric, we had a lot of fun making these!
This is a nicely polished game and really interesting mechanic... the sprites look great :)
Thanks Lizzard!
lol I only got 27 of them. I like how you can set off your own traps, so you have to be really careful collecting the coins. I like how you can see the trap reloading and the blood trails the zombies leave everywhere. Nice artwork too.
Good job!
That's ok for you first run! Everybody tells me that this is blood, but I did not make the trails red to avoid to be gory (I told my kid that this is dirt because they are crawling on the ground)
What a neat idea. I really like how the trap system works, but the sound effects are what take the cake! The pixel art was also spot on. Nicely done!
Thank you porkrind! I want to add more than in the future version :)
Nice mechanics. Love the pixel art too!
