This game got a bit of rage out of me. The timer is pretty unforgiving. Make one mistake and you are dead. Controls are okay, but too "fast"to land accurately on the moving platforms, especially when you have to jump over the timer to not die instantly.

Still, when a game enrages me, it means it's good and I want to beat it. Nicely done! :D

OMG I love it! So good. So nostalgic and complexity as well. I also enjoyed the looks of the game. What an awesom contribution to the jam! Stellar job!

I am astouned that this doesn't have more reviews!

Would you like to tell me what engine you used to make this game? Or didn't you use any at all?

Fun little word game. Unfortunately when making a mistake by clicking the wrong letter, the clear button didn't revert the deactivated status of the letter, so it was gone.
It was still fun to play beating the own highscore :D

Orientation was a bit hard on the planets, but besides that I had fun playing it. Got a bit of a bad conscience when destroying the planets by activating the lasers, just to keep the sun burning, but hey for the greater good, right? Otherwise all life would be wasted anyway :D.

How cool! Such a great idea. I really enjoyed playing a story-teller game and solving the mystery. I also really liked the art-style.

Hey. thank you so much for your feedback!

Yeah, that's the biggest pain point in the game, definitely! And something to keep an eye on with the next game / jam.

Animals in games are the best! :D
Yeah getting to know the timing is not that easy. And when not running it can be very hard to get onto the first platform.

Yeah, it's not that easy. I heard a lot, that people didn't know that they could use "Shift" to run. That could  make it a bit easier :)

Oh I didn't know that game before. That looks awesome.

That would've been a nice idea, to show a pulse or something on the platforms. Good idea!
For now, nothing is planned on going back to that idea, but who knows what the future holds :).

Thank you for your feedback!

Hey there. Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you liked it to wish for more levels :D.

"Quit" don't work in WebGL, in case you played in the browser. Because there is no Application to quit. A thing I can keep in mind for the future to hide in the browser version :).

Thank you for the feedback!

Yes I also miss a lot of set up settings in jams. Or at least something to turn down volume. So this one was important to me.

I hear you with the player movement, did you try to run with „Shift?

Thank you for you feedback. Did you try to use the „Shift“ key to run? That should make it way easier.

Liked the game. Was a fun little jump and run. Got stuck here and there on some objects, but managed to reach the third level until I got stuck because of fire :D. Good job :)!

Thanks for the feedback. Very much appreciated and I like your ideas! Unfortunately, there are no plans on re-visiting this game as it was just a "warm-up". But maybe for future game ideas with another platformer or whever these mechanics fit.

Thank you! :)

Sorry you encountered lagging. I guess that part is your device. But the controls itself are improveable, so that is not on your end. Thanks for the feedback :)!

Fun, cute game. The levels with less platforms were definitely harder, because of the danger falling onto spikes. But fun! Well done!

Hehe thanks!

Yeah completely valid with the jump/controls. There is a "shift" control for running which a lot don't seem to know about, which makes it a bit easier. But there is still a lot of improvement to the controls :D.

Thanks for testing our game!

Yeah that wall clip. Something with those colliders in Unity. Full enclosed, but still somehow you can squeeze through.
And I think getting the level done is not you lack of skill, but that it's indeed hard and not such a good implementation of the player movement.

This was just a small little getting back into making a game quick, before we start with a big project outside of jams. So we probably will not put any more effort into this.
Thank you for trying our submission!

Thank you! We put a lot of effort into the art.

I couldn't agree more with the player movement. We need more practice with this. But thank you for hanging in there and make it work!

Sometimes reading is of essence :D.
I re-read the description and found the explaining part at the end.

Make the circles balanced to progress!

Sorry for that.

That means I definitely need to play again to get that good ending! Hehe, now I have a mission :P.

Yeah :D I guess it is. Without ever wanting it to be.
The art was the main reason for us to join the jam. Myhko made all the art asset and just recently got into making game art. Started out with blender, but since this is now 2D it was at least a way to train drawing and stuff and getting back into making games for him.

Thank you :) !

Haha, oh yes. :D Couldn't let you all start easy. No, but honestly maybe overlapping the adjacent cycle for a second or so would've been better and a bit easier. Also for potential other levels (we never managed to implement).

Thanks so much for playing and the feedback!

Thanks! Never heard of runbow. But seems like a game I need to check out.

Haha, thank you! Good then, that's it not really long and after one got the gist in the controls and all completeable. Thank you for sticking 'til the end! And thank you for the feedback :).

Thank you and thank you for playing our game!

Hey there! Thanks so much for playing and can definitely agree to the difficulty of the cycles.
To copy an explanation to another comment, what could've been better:

We too had problems with the timer. Maybe having them overlap for a second to get the jump and not just falling because you were just a tad too late.

But we really appreciate the honest feedback and agree with you. Thank you!

Yeeah... We too had problems with the timer. Maybe having them overlap for a second to get the jump and not just falling because you were just a tad too late.

Thanks for playing and the feedback! Much appreciated!

Hey the other dev here :D.

Just wanted to add to the other response that the player control was definitely the hardest part to get right and still not what we wanted (but much better the our first draft). Thanks again so much for playing!

This was so fun. Balatro but with another casino game. Addiction here I come.

Very good!

How fun to combine a clicker game with the narrative of coding. It held me until I crashed it after 18:20 minutes. Haha, upgraded everything to max.  Thanks for the fun game!

I really like the art-style but couldn't wrap my head around what works now as a loop and gave up after a couple of minutes. I am sure it is a great game and you did really good on the game play part. But I think a bit more explanation to make it easier accessible would've been great. I also think the explanation screen in the level selection confused me more, than it helped.

Still very well done, especially for your first jam!

Edit: After thinking a couple more minutes about it and looked at the help screen for 5 minutes straight. I got it. Haha.

For anyone else struggeling like I did, here is a hint: Look at the river lines in the help screen around tile with trees and look at how many trees there are on the tile.

Really good one! Now it makes so much more fun!

That was fun and threw me back to my the good old games back then. Really nice game, well done and such a nice idea!

I got once bugged with the dog, when I held the bone in my hand and threw right when it attacked me. But other than that it worked pretty well.
Nicely done!

Cute and it has a cat :D. And a very nice idea. But I didn't really get the rules of what do to tbh. I think if I had figured that out (maybe I am also too tired right now :D) the game would've been so much more fune.

Still I can see what the game is/should be and I like that!

Such a cute artwork and original idea. It was a bit hard to navigate with the keyboard and getting a somewhat accurate result was hard. And then with every repeat the sound repeated from the top :D.

BUT the concept has so much potential for a cute little puzzle game and can be advanced really good.
Nicely done!

Fun idea. It was a bit hard for me (but it's also late already and didn't sleep much due to the jam the last days :D). But I l love the rythm aspect. I was a bit sad when I fell and the checkpoint from the beginning activated again, because I was close to it when falling down, so the latter checkpoints didn't really matter.

But still really fun. Well done!

Oh my. That cute little bunny, haha :D. Even though it's not finished it shows some great potential and has a really good look. I hope you continue working on it. I also enjoyed the graphics!

That really hit my puzzle nerv! Some level are harder then others and really make you think before your next move. Nicely done with the game design and very well functional-wise implemented!
 I really liked it!

At first I thought "What the ..." but then I started drag together a rythm and could barely hold my self on my chair. A laught so hard!

Simple but fun for a few minutes.

How do you do that? I followed you already with you previous participation on a game jam, because I back then already really enjoyed your game and now you did it again!

This game was a blast. Calm, cozy, but with puzzle and put a lot of thought into the concept. It all comes together so well, with the narrative, the game play, the sounds. And it works so smooth. That you managed to do such a good game in this short time.

And the idea itself. So original and at the same time fitting into the theme!

Bravo!

Really well done!
