Like the UI, especially the health bar one. was wondering why is there a health kit just to realize the health bar is in the character, though you practically became immortal after getting the equipment. There are a lot of mechanics implemented, which is amazing. But either how the level is designed (I keep coming back to get the puzzle box to the trigger) or my skill issue makes it takes a long time to complete it, kinda confusing. Still, Great Game!

Played the latest windows version, there might be a bug where the crosshair is not aligned with the interact button in the door.

I liked it a lot. Very nice indeed. I would love to have a music clip though and an explosion sound. Some cube went flying and then missing, but luckily I had enough left to kame it to the end! It has the potential of becoming something quite awesome. Consider adding visual representation of the armour worn to the model. I wanted to spam some grenades, just to see them explode altogether, but no can do :-( That explosion was awesome btw, shader? I need to learn those. And I don't know if that would be good or not, but no friendly fire? The explosions do not hit you.

Most of the things you mentioned are all on a To-Do list that I wanted to complete but ran out of time to implement them all, especially sounds  :( And yes, there's a tutorial on the explosion shader that I used on Youtube, just look up Zelda explosion shader graph & VFX Graph for Unity. The Dead Space-like health bar is a custom shader as well, but I didn't use a tutorial for it. As for friendly fire, the earlier downloadable builds have them, it basically applies the explosion force to the player, which means sometimes you clip through walls. I had to remove it for now because I'm not very satisfied with the current implementation and it causes some bugs to manifest. Thanks for the review!

It took me a bit to start off and to understand where to go, but after that, it was a good experience. I liked the grenade launcher, although couldn't understand why gas would affect a robot :) But I belive someone has already said that.

I'm glad I played this one! Good job!

A great sense of exploration in this one! I feel a lot of Portal inspiration here and you've done a good job of having that some vibe, having the player make their way through a dilapidated facility with just enough functioning parts to progress forward.

The controls are over all, placing cubes could be a bit iffy sometimes but usually only when I was actively trying to break the system. Speaking of, I did manage to do some things which felt unintended, like grabbing a power cube out of its socket once I'd gone through the door it powered and dragging it with me. That was a high risk, high reward situation since it did lock me in, fortunately I had enough cubes with me to get to the end!

I'm not sure why ARGO is vulnerable to gas clouds or why giant spiders want to eat it so badly, but I greatly enjoy that the answer to such problems is to blow them up with an infinite grenade launcher. :D

It's also nice to know that Tim's robot building hobby will eventually lead to the salvation of humanity from the [Lost Data]!

I really like the models used in the game, they are outstanding and great game mechanics.  Would you mind trying out my game and rating it according :).

Such a nice sci-fi game, kudos!!

Great game with great visuals, but ... I DO NOT LIKE SPIDERS! :)

Cool aesthetic, I like how the health bar is actually on the character. Some sweet particle effects with the weapons too. I did encounter some bugs. The spiders sometimes seemed dead and were flipped upside down but were actually still alive. Also it seems pretty easy to get outside of the map. Good job though!

So i really like the setting and the robot design you did.  I also enjoy how you got to pick up weapons and item and were able to equip them.    I really like how the health bar was on his back but it would have been nice to have some kind of indication that it was that. I figure it out when i clicked on restore and saw the bar on his back go up. I enjoy the introduction at the beginning but the text was little too fast for me to read it all.  It was great how you picked up things and put them in door but when I tried to take something out it kept getting stuck and place back in so i kept having to take it out and it get stuck back in to move it.  Also when i was on the top floor and I fired the grenade launcher to remove the chemical, it kept resulting in the robot getting knocked off and stuck in the walls or so.  A lot of great things you have here and just wanted to point out things I ran into.

Great visuals and the health "bar" is neat! I felt a bit lost at the start and I probably did things out of order but the mechanics are good. Sounds will make the game feel 100% more alive. Aside from that, picked boxes can go through the walls occasionally but nothing game-breaking.

Thank you for the review! Yay thank you for noticing the health bar! it is def inspired by deadspace's health bar UwU.
Our programmer worked really hard to make that work. Yes we really wanted to implement more sounds but we ran out of time TwT huhu. Thank you so much for playing!

DOPE, love the visual health HUD, i bet that was hard lol.

Developer

Thank you for the review!!! And that was def a challenge for our programmer. He will be very happy coz of you review :3 .

Dang visually this game is great!  And a lot of mechanics for only a ten-day jam!  :O

Well done!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing the game Stephen!! We def coulda done more esp the sound, we do have some bugs to fix still. But we all really enjoyed making the game and learned a lot!!

I really like the concept! very nice visuals and level design. The lack of sound is not a big deal except when I was being attacked because I didn't see it coming XD. Colliders get weird at times but not a big deal either, it is impressive work for a jam!!.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and rating our game!!! Man we wish we could've added that sound TwT, We had so many ready. We were in a time crunch, but we learned so many things while we were doing the game tho. Also your game was so cute!! The skeleton skin of the catto was adorable!!!

Submitted

thank you! :)

I would def play your game if you complete it, I also know my brother and my nephew would like it. Yeah, mine doesn't have sound either :P

The skeleton skin took forever and is not the best but it is tiny in the game so nvm, I didn't have time to adjust the frames properly for the animations either, but I guess for a game jam is good enough if is playable :P

I must agree - the soundscape is a little sad and the powerboxes sometimes wont come out of their slots and sometimes glitch through walls so I didn't have enough for upstairs...

Developer

Heya! Thank you so much for playing our game, yes we ran out of time to implement the sounds though we had a lot ready.
The powercubes should come out tho :(, have you tried the latest build? For the first level, you should only have around 2.
The first one is inside it's socket near the starting point, and the 2nd one should be near the incinerator.
Player is encouraged to take the cubes in and out of sockets to open other doors :).

Again thanks for playing our game ^w^, I will def check yours out :)

The physics gets a little glitchy and I wish there were some more sounds/music, but the visuals are insanely impressive for a 10-day stretch! Very flashy and well-crafted, awesome job!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the kind review! :)
I agree we could have done more on the sounds. We were on an extreme time crunch. And we had 4 artists and only 1 programmer XD.
