as hard as real life!!! XD

yeah, the climbing bug keeps happening :(

I'm working on it during the weekend, and hopefully will get it fixed.

awesome!!!

thank you very much for playing to the end! ♥

Thank you! :)

I am working on fixing the bugs, hopefully would get it done after the weekend :)

Thank you for playing and for the feedback!

I have been stuck with university work but I will get back to fixing bugs during the weekend. Sadly I didn't have time to add sound and music :( But I am considering developing the concept further and then will have music for sure!

Hi! sorry I didn't get back to you earlier! I could not install the game because it requires to install Epic Games or something like that it said. Would you have a version that does not require extra installs but simply runs on Windows?

Thank you!

I'm working on the bugs now, tried several possible solutions but bugs still happen some times less some times more, the goal is to stop them from happening, ever.  I will submit the update and notify in Discord when it is fully fixed :)

thank you for playing and for your feedback!

The original idea was to have the pickups respawn after a while so the player could switch dimensions again if goes back, but I had some problems trying to implement the respawning in the engine so I had to leave it like that at the end due to time constraints. Changing the pickups into permanent portals would have been a better solution yeah! sadly I didn't think of it at the moment, thanks for pointing it out!

hahaha XD

hadn't seen it that way but yeah... that way the getting stuck bug makes sense :P

and thanks for playing! :)

thank you! oh, a dead character controllable is a newly discovered bug :O will fix it, thanks for pointing it out.

I'm working on the ladder issues too, good you found a way out! thanks for pointing out that as well.

thank you, it downloaded successfully from google drive :) will play it now.

Very cool mechanics and story!

The levels feel a bit empty but of course for a game jam game that is kind of obvious, I would love to play an improved version of this game, loved it! :)

And the decoration of the walls... awesome!!! XD

I could not install it, it seems my pc is missing some software or something, it just keeps saying error :(

I couldn't play it because the download broke, it just said "error" and when I tried to resume the download it said "forbidden" :(

I absolutely love it!!

I am a fan of all Schrödinger's cat-related stuff, and this is a magnificent concept and mechanics. The visuals are awesome as well, animations/FX super well done. Doesn't look or feel like a game-jam game at all! super polished, well done!!! -and as far as I have played, no bugs at all... how on earth do you accomplish a bug-free game in a game jam! :O

Now I'm playing the browser version but I will def download it when I can afford a donation, I live in a low-income country so even a buck would make a hole for me rn, but I don't want to download it for free.

Congrats! 5 rating in all categories ♥

thanks, I am working on it :) I'm more on the art and design side so all the dev part is overwhelming but I like it anyway, just not my strength. But yeah doing my best to fix those bugs every single time they appear, it seems they happen or not depending on the EXACT position of the player + the EXACT combination of keyboard input when trying to get out of the ladder, quite some work to do XD

(btw the browser version of your game is not loading, I will try the download).

"it's not a bug, it's a feature" :P  ...yeah let's go with that haha

oh sorry, only up arrow. I should add W control as well, thanks for pointing it out!

And thank you! :)

you have to climb the bones ladder on the small island where you arrive in the moving platform :)

So far it is only possible to jump out of the ladders after reaching the end of them, not in the middle, and yeah it seems some bugs are happening still, even though I had supposedly fixed them. I will work more on it. Thanks a lot!! :)

oh sorry about that, I thought that bug had been totally fixed, I will give it another fix... 100000th time haha.

about the invisible boxes, yeah I didn't have time to make all the collisions disabled I just made them invisible XD, I'll see if I can fix that one too before the deadline for bug fixing, although it doesn't make the game unplayable.  I enjoyed working on that theme a lot, I might make a proper game of this demo at some point :)

thank you! :)

I would def play your game if you complete it, I also know my brother and my nephew would like it. Yeah, mine doesn't have sound either :P

The skeleton skin took forever and is not the best but it is tiny in the game so nvm, I didn't have time to adjust the frames properly for the animations either, but I guess for a game jam is good enough if is playable :P

I like the concept very much! the controls are very responsive and the mechanic is very interesting. The blue character gets stuck and at some point is not possible to continue playing, I don't know if it is a bug or just because the project is unfinished. All in all, good game idea! :)

I really like the concept! very nice visuals and level design. The lack of sound is not a big deal except when I was being attacked because I didn't see it coming XD. Colliders get weird at times but not a big deal either, it is impressive work for a jam!!.

yeah that one. Oh I missed completely the go back to camp part!

And yes we have time to fix bugs until Monday! :)

Very nice narrative game, very relaxing to play a story that does not require much active input but dialogue choices :)  I got stuck in the abandoned house, but I will try it out again.

yeah maybe make it more obvious that there is two ways to pick the animals. I also think this kind of mechanics would work better on mobile with a touch screen. It is a great game, I see a lot of potential to be more than a game jam game :)

oh, sorry to hear that, I didn't find that particular bug, will work on fixing it. Thank you! :)

I really love the level design!!! also, the mechanics are a very interesting twist :)  it is very well thought. Congratulations!

Edit: I didn't make it to the end, and I didn't know I could pet the cat!... so, now I'm playing again :P

Second Edit: pet the cat 5 times! ♥

It looks amazing and it is very fun to play! I was all the time kicking out monsters through the portals because it was very difficult to aim correctly to place the animals in the houses, I always failed on that :(

Fun! I like that are short levels so you can play various levels in a few minutes :) Big Boss was too hard but I passed after like 5 attempts :P

Hi!! ...sadly couldn't finish the game on time due to my busy schedule with my dog's care and a persistent bug that I haven't been able to fix :( ...still a few hours to go but is 2:30am here and I really need to sleep! Let me know if I can fill in the post-jam survey even if couldn't finish the game on time, or if is just for ppl who could submit.

oki, thank you!!! :)

Hello. I am interested in participate but I prefer to do it alone because I have a dog with a health condition and I could at any second have to put everything aside if have an emergency with him. I wouldn't like to let down a team mate by suddenly stop working on the game if it gets to that. Can I participate as solo developer? I have a personal interest in the topic of serious games and I am also starting to work on my thesis project for game design program. I know by experience that it is not easy to find participants for a study, so I want to participate but can only do so if I do it on my own because of the reason previously mentioned. Looking forward to your answer, thank you! :)
