very unusual graphics combination - downright weird. the switch between 3D and 2D platformer is a cool concept, but i feel like you could have even pushed it a bit further - switch to an orthographics camera for 2D for example or apply some pixel filter on the world. but that's just how I would do it (and did it ;-)
Woooo what a game and presentation for it. I mean the gameover and how it was set up from going to 2d to 3d was really awesome. This was quite an interesting game to play. My only complain was when you got close to the door it went into this first person view that would throw me off or make it confusing so just the door make the game going into first person regardless of view. Still awesome job on this.
I personaly don't like jumps were you are locked in a curve it's makes them annoying to land...
That beeing said your concept is great and the idea with a mix of 2D and 3D to avoid or do differentchallenges is very nice. After the transision the camera and the sprites sometimes bugged for me until I moved a bit and sometimes I got hit by 2D elements in 3D that should not have hit me so I didn't make it past the spikey crushers
I liked the unusual combination of mechanics in your game. It turned out great.
Very interesting Concept - the Idea to avoid 2d traps by using 3D and jump over clifs only via 2D is nice! I like the Idea a lot!
Really slick looking! The transition between 2D and 3D is so impressive I had to download the game and give it a try. :D
I had a lot of trouble predicting where was save to move to, it often felt like I got hit by something which, from my perspective, I wasn't close to. I did eventually make it to the end (by walking toward the camera until I was on the ledge and bypassing half the obstacles)!
