A very sweet little game you made! I really like the character and the visual of releasing the shackles from doing what was binding you to earth! The platforming could be a little better as getting up the latter for example was a little bit of a hazzle. On the last level the platforms blend a little bit too much with the background for the stove switches. One could jump higher after the last shackles right that was a very nice touch!
Thanks for these good points! I agree about the colors blending into the level... it was a combination of sticking with my color palette, game jam time limits, and trying to choose colors that made some kind of sense!
That was great!
Thanks for playing! :)
now that is something for the environment, please make more levels.
Thanks for playing!
Ooh more levels... might have to be another ghost, this guy's checked everything off the list!
This game is so cute! I really like the idea of unfinished business being really mundane things, and the gradual releasing of the shackles was really cool in that it directly impacted gameplay. Good work!
Thanks! It was a lot of fun to work on!
グラフィックがとてもオシャレ
素晴らしい!Thanks for playing! ^-^
Nice little platformer, did get stuck a bit on the ladder. See if you can fine tune the hitboxes on those steps.
thanks for playing! I think it would make sense to have one way hitboxes on the ladder so you can jump up from the bottom
Wow, very fun game. I'm surprised how similar our game ideas were. You definitely had a lot more creative environments. I really liked the shackles idea where the more you lose the higher you can jump. Pretty nice short fun game :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it! You never know what your mind is going to come up with when you're in a time crunch like this!
I have to say, this game was moved me. You character bound by chains gets a chance to complete their unfinished tasks before moving on to the after life. And as you progress through the game their soul feels lighter, breaking those chains. There's a good message here in this game and I appreciate that. Thank you for submitting this, hope you make more like this one! One of the most touching submissions in the game jam that I've played so far.
Thank you so much! Since I intended this to be a really short game for the jam, I really wanted to try to come up with something kind of light on one hand, but a little relatable and touching too. I mean, what WOULD happen if we just up and kicked the bucket? Oh man my unfinished business would be rating these games and replying to comments haha
Thanks for playing!
It's a pretty simple game and concept, but well done. It is a short and fun game.
Thanks for playing!
Dig the music. This is a challenging platformer that doesn't look like a challenging platformer. Totally worth playing just to jump on a rubber duck.
And why is he person-sized in the first stage but rubber duck-sized in the 2nd stage?! Uhh ghost rules!
I liked the general vibe of the game, especially the feeling of becoming more and more "untethered" after each level. And that ladder wasn't too bad.

I should get that framed XD
It was fun! Good interpretation of the theme
Thanks for playing it!
I LOVED this! Great concept, great theme-related story. The idea of 'unfinished business' being the mundane household chores is fantastic. Not sure if intentional, but the button prompts went away in the last 1 or 2 levels. I didn't really notice until the end, but I liked the 'unshackling of burdens' equating to jumping higher! nice touch! Could use some tweaks in collision detection and probably collider positions, but one of my favorites so far!
Awesome, thanks for playing, it was fun to make!
One extra day of playtesting could have made a big difference!
Great solo work ! Even though the collisions with any platform could feel slightly frustrating, the whole package is a lovely platformer that it nicely crafted.
Thanks for playing, I had a lot of fun making this. I've learned for next time I should probably set aside a lot more time for testing the collisions for a smoother experience.
I have to agree with everyone else here. The ladder was very challenging because you would not expect to be blocked by each rung of the ladder. If you changed it to a staircase it would have been more understandable. The game was charming in it simplicity. I enjoyed it.
Thanks for playing! I have a feeling I'm going to be hearing about that ladder a lot for the next 5 or 6 days...

Thanks for playing! I will remember the ladder for all time
I like the concept. The colliders make it challenging to jump up (like the ladder) Try to change them so you can jump through from the underside to make it more player friendly. Also hard to tell what is acceptable as a platform and what you fall through. And not everything that you interact has the "E" pop up. Try to be consistent. Great work in getting this done and I love that you made this short and sweet. Good work!
Great, thanks for the feedback!
That ladder at the start was a bit hard, but good concept and I liked the ending
You've been climbing too many skeletons, this is normal ladder difficulty XD
Nice art
Thanks! Making the art definitely took the most time out of the 10 days
Short and sweet, the concept of getting your things in order before you can let go is really cool. Especially when you tie it into the mechanics with how the chains weigh you down. And note to self: turn off the faucet before dying.
Add that to the bucket list I guess! Thanks for playing!
