Super creative approach! I was immediately taken back to when I used to play with this toy!

I'm not super sure how I feel about the item system. I think it might have been better by either giving you a set of items for each level, instead of being presented with all of them form the get go. But I guess that's part of the "puzzle" to beat the game. So maybe it would be a compromise that if you only put 2 items in that it does not go directly from one to the other but forces you to take 2 teeth at least once each loop?

Great art direction and the whole game felt very concise, with everything being in it's place! You guys did a great job!

I'm so happy you liked it! Thanks for playing!

Absolutely stellar work! Really really enjoyed how the game just flowed!

The most minor of nitpicks I have are: The first levels it felt almost too slow to get back to where I needed the track to be if I messed something up.

Putting one false note and having to redo everything did not always feel great. Maybe an undo last note would be nice without trivializing it completely?

Maybe there would be a better character sprite than something that either reminds me of a bullet or of a condom. 😅

Being able to walk on notes while they are being placed trivialized a few parts. Maybe they should just become solid after they are really placed and you can ensure that they are "legal"?

Oh and maybe another keylayout? maybe something like 1-4 and q-t. 1-8 felt a little stretched at times and I often missed the key I actually intended. You could maybe make the number keys treble clef and the letter keys bass?

The deafening effect while in the no music zone is super stunning I love all the care you put into it. Hearing a song you yourself wrote at the end of each track is really amazing!

Super great entry! You really had an awesome idea here!

I think it would have been nice if all the abilities had a little more weight to it. Maybe bigger effects with longer cooldowns? I found myself simply spamming all the abilities at times.

When he started to teleport with my it really scared me and flipped the script from predator and prey! Great job!

I really like what you made here! It's a super clean bossfight, with well telegraphed attacks!

I did manage to cheese it at the end by jumping and attacking down a bunch of times °^^

I really loved the sounds you used for the different characters that was super charming!

Man do I know that feeling... During one of my playtesting my sound got way too loud because of a bug. I was able to fix the bug but was so paranoid I lowered the overall volume so that if you play my game with 100% Volume it sounds not too loud. But most people don't have their computers master volume at 100%... So now I think a lot of people now miss that I have sound at all 💔

I love the idea. Having always the same boss-fight but growing stronger is super intriguing. Buuuut it does take to long for meaningful increases in your stats. I also think some more visual or tangential changes as you die would have been nice. Maybe the addition of a dodge button or so?

Also the intro sequence takes just a smidge too long for how often you have to see it.

I love the quippy dialogue but maybe it could have played while you are already in the fight instead of having to finish it first?

Furthermore I would have loved to play with wasd and other buttons than z and x especially while playing on a qwertz-keyboard.

The art is impeccable and the music is really great!

Thanks for playing!

Super creative game!

I was sure Henry was the evil doer... seems I was wrong... :(

The movement was a bit janky I did not always end up where I wanted to be. Maybe simple arrow key movement would have suited this game a little bit better?

I would say it really payed off putting so much time into art it has real charm too it!

Wow super creative approach to the whole ghosts do the things you did before. I really really love it kudos!

I would have really liked a sound menu, because the music was banging but the sound effects were a little to loud so I had to turn the whole volume down.

I found it a little hard to really strategize maybe a gentler curve might have been an easier entry. Like first you have a max of 2 guys and just 1 Job and then you increase those values as it goes on?

This game has some serious depth to it and it is just so so innovative. The art is amazing, the soundtrack is awesome. Again really amazing work!

Ohhoho a fellow enjoyer of loopholes! How great to see! Really love all the different ways one can go about this!

For my game I also thought about doing it more free-form but could not get it working. How did you determine what was used to get the pie each iteration? The last thing touched in x seconds or so? Just saw it in another comment that is such a clever and clean solution even if it does not work 100% of the time as the player would expect it still works well enough too fool you!

The  sound overall was great but the droning of the lawnmower did detract a little bit from it. I wished I could have turned the damn thing off :D

I also feel like the transitions could have been a little bit quicker or a way to skip them altogether since when there are a lot of rules one quickly runs into something forbidden and has to wait quite a few seconds.

I loved that I could interact with the world in so many different ways when I struck down the power-line or the trees with the ax I felt so smart :D

Hear hear!

Thanks for playing!

Super clean game! Loved the sprites and how you animated them!

Would have loved some a little bit more difficult levels to be honest! I was really breezing through them at the end. But I think making it a little too easy than to hard for a jam game is always the best option! I think it might have been nice to explore the idea that you cannot create separate pens. Like you cannot cut the rope and create a new section but that all of them have to be at least somewhat connected. That could have maybe given it some more depth!

I loved the music and the sound effects of the sheep and the wolfs! Overall really great polish! Oh the sound effect of the buttons at the start was also really nice!

Thank you very much for giving it a go! I'm really glad you liked it! I had a lot of fun trying out VA for the first time!

Sadly I could not get the exe to run... I fear my pc is just not up to it... But I do love the vaporwave aesthetic and the soundtrack sounds really nice!

Oh super interesting concept I love the idea behind creating your own "obstacles" It felt like real traffic at times since all the movement became natural without ai. Really clever!

That said I would have maybe made the map a little smaller so it gets chaotic more quickly. Especially in a jam you want to get to the juicy stuff as quickly as possible.

I appreciate the sound but it did become a little repetitive since it was quite droning. Maybe some slight variation between the cars or some music to along with it?

The arrow is a nice unobtrusive way of indicating direction but can be a little misleading since I guess it is always pointing straight at it?

I love Bloop so much he is super cute and also the cover art is adorable!

I'm all for sound effects they can really elevate a game but the walking sound was a little too repetetive. Maybe add some pitch shift to it to break up the monotony!

The concept of color shifting was super interesting and having to go back a level is super clever. I feel there is still a lot of design space to explore with that concept!

Huzzah! Thank you so very much for giving it another play! That means the world to me!

Thank you so much for this wonderful work and especially for going above and beyond and making it accessible for everyone!

I used a few of your songs in my entry for girl game jam 2025. And your music let me give the game so much more soul. Thank you again!

Oh and sorry about the audio being to low! Since I start the game off with the fanfares and the VA, I wanted to make sure I blew nobody's ear drums even if they have maxed volume on their end. Seems I might have overcorrected. 😅

Ahh I see! Yeah I noticed that that one turned out harder than I hoped for! Sorry about that! If you would be willing to give it another shot here is another hint.

On the top left it says the name you gave at the beginning, and you can edit that name while playing.

thank you so much for playing my game! And thank you especially for the video! Seeing someone actually play the game you made is such an amazing feeling!

Thank you for playing!! Oh the one where the room is small and shakes? Did you try exiting the game? ;)

Thank you so much for playing and your kind words!

Thank you so much for playing! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

Super work with the art all over! Very charming loved all the details!

I would have loved to be able to reset the level by pressing a key rather than having to move my mouse away from the place I was aiming. And maybe an  undo button would have been nice. Sure it would have been less punishing but being 5 planets deep and just missing one felt a little frustrating...

The way the orbits work is awesome it felt really satisfying seeing all the objects loop around the sun!

Thank you so much for giving it a shot! It was my first time trying voice acting and it was super fun! Although I'm sure my neighbours think I'm really loopy!

Thank you so much!

Thank you again so much for playing this game on stream. It really made my day see someone actually play something I made!!!

Wow it's its a super polished game. Great job with the lighting and atmosphere as a whole.

It's super tough, especially to get go at the beginning only the spacebar was not enough but when I mashed w and spacebar at the same time I could get up to speed!

Dodging the traps is a little to difficult I would have liked some more leeway. Maybe just a longer loop with a little more time to react? And the restart could be a little quicker since you die so easily I would love to get straight back into action.

Having graphics settings in a jam game is a super nice touch!

Really liked the atmosphere you created. The music was a great fit!

Stealthily walking around was super fun but it was a little too punishing in my opinion having to get all the pages over and over again just because I missteped a little war rough.

I love the idea of eaves dropping but felt like I could not really control which one I was listening to. Especially when there are two guards next to each other. Also the searching needs a little bit more feedback when you find something. I was just sprinting next to all i could see and mashing e to hopefully pick something up.

Love the interpretation of the theme greate job!

Super clean execution of the idea! Feels like everything was made very intentionally and with much care!

I got overwhelmed quickly and I think maybe having a progression of unlocking the different colors would have been a nice way of easing the player into it.

Love the music great way of calling back to it's inspiration. The sound design overall was super satisfying!

First of all I would die for this crow! The sounds where just too damn cute I love it! Since it is played so often you might vary the pitch ever so slightly each time it is played so it does not feel that repetetive.

The time constraint was a little bit much in my opinion. Especially the tile room took way to long. I feel like it might have been half it's size for it to be easy to remember after 2-3 gos and not eating up so much time.

I really really like the artwork and I'm a sucker for knowledge games! Oh and the music! When it ramps up as you near your end... it is very very good!

Great job with this game. I loved that there were 2 Characters. Tho the mage was waaay stronger!

On my first round I found the boss straight away and got demolished since I had no upgrades. Would have maybe been a good Idea to add a key so that you are forced to explore a little and not just stumble upon it.

Loved all the sound effects you added but you might want to modulate the pitch ever so slightly each time a sound is played especially when it's used often like the wizards shots. This helps with sound not becoming annoying.

Some more visual feedback when an enemy is hit would have been nice like a quick flash of the sprite or some slight camera shake. A boss health bar would also have gone a long way to help with player feedback! And maybe showing the tool tip of what you pick up as you pick it up so one does not have to hover over it to know what it is.

Overall a great execution and having it loop with harder? enemies was great! I enjoyed playing it a lot and got 3 clean runs in!

Wow I love all the little details in the game. The eyes following your cursor. The text being so dynamic really great entry!

I would have loved to see my faith per second somewhere and also to see the current value a unit would create before I buy it, like taking into account the buffs I bought as I lost overview quite quickly and could not make an informed decision in what to buy. I also feel like the beginning could ramp up a little quicker to really get it going!

A small bug I had was when I got a bunch of faith at once through the buff the boss said his lines like 5 times in a row.

Overall I really love the aesthetics of the game and one can see that you put so much effort into it! All hail NAZ'XXARLGPULPITUSZ!!

Oh and it looks like my Avatars are generating 0? I'm not sure if it is just a visual bug.

Wow that is such a unique concept with the subgames! Someday I will play a real game with Shahrazad!

I don't know if I love that the dragon does a random range of damage. Some runs just seemed unbeatable, especially when you did not draw, redraw cards. Would have loved to see my deck size somewhere. And dying in the main game but still being able to play the sub game felt a little weird. Like you know you are doomed with no chance of revival but still have to play it out?

Small bug i found I think? When playing the double cast on a subgame and losing the first but winning the second I did not get any card rewards.

The multiple levels you can go deeper is super ingenious and that it all flows back to the top game is super innovative! Great job! I did get lost at some point not knowing it which level I was from what subgame :D

Awesome! I'm super happy that I could make someone laugh! Oh wow I have not thought about the Impossible Quiz in ages! That is great pray thank you!

A button... the solution was right there... And i spend so long trying to fine tune the timing... Damn it :D

Thank you! I'm super pumped you liked it!
Ohhh im so glad the hints helped you I was very unsure if people would like them. How did you think the wait was until the hint was shown? Too long or too short?

Wow thank you for your very kind words!
