Pretty fun typeracing game, had fun trying to get some of the words, a suggestion I have is to have the restart button binded (If it already wasn't) so that you can quick restart the game, for example by pressing R after getting a game over screen maybe you can quick restart the game, fun game nonetheless!

Developer

Thank you for playing! It is already set to [tab] to immediately restart the game but I should put that somewhere on the screen so people know!

I really liked that minigame!  Speed typing is not easy for me, but I had a lot of fun with it!  A game you can play with your kids, so that's a plus for me.   Good work!  I expect more minigames in the future!

Developer

Thank you for playing and that's awesome that your kids are playing it too :) !

Love the idea, thought it all worked really well (apart from not getting the Gatcha button thing at first). Would love to see some more mini games as my touch typing sucks, but that is a me issue!!

Well done great idea, great exectuion!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and yes, will be adding more minigames hopefully, with some sort of achievement as well!

very well done game, I'm highly impressed!

A good level of game design, everythings fits together and is very polished.

I really like the fact, that you can continue the game at any time, I really need to know how you did this :)

Good job!!!!

Developer

Thank you for playing the game and your kind words! Glad you had fun :)

If you mean the SaveLoad system, I followed this tutorial - with a little bit of tweaking to use BinaryReader and BinaryWriter instead of the no-longer-recommended BinaryFormatter . I'm not sure if this is the best way, but it works for what I needed for this game. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions!

Impressive, first brain game I've seen so far. Very polished.

I liked it :)

Very good job :)

Thank you for playing the game!

Well done, I quite enjoyed it. Probably because it is something completely else and very polished. Good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing the game and glad you enjoyed it!

Interesting game. For a while the typing is fun (I run 200+ characters per minute, so having the shifting and turning words is fun). only after reading Peter's comment I saw the added stats in the inventory :D.  In all, nice implementation, solid, can't image that you actually did the idea and all in 2 weeks. Gacha'm all.

Developer

Thanks for playing the game! certainly will add more clarity regarding the "equip" mechanic in the future.

Me and my mate are a huge fan of gacha games in general, so the underlying game design and concept was pretty quick for us to come up with. Putting it together to use the theme and making sure the moving parts all fits together was challenging but a lot of fun!

Submitted

Great job. Interesting game, and has a hook to keep you wanting to play for more.
took me a while and some help figuring out how to open a box though :D, i didn't realise the "gatcha" thing was a button :D.

Also didn't realise for a bit that things i selected in my inventory was benefitting me in game :D.

nice work, well done.

Developer

Thank you for playing the game and your feedback! You're not the first person to get confused by the names and the lack of "equip" visuals for your inventory , I will definitely change it in future updates to make it clearer!

I love this game, I actually love it alot, ive been playing for an hour now because of those collectibles... The game is very challenging and i love typing games
Keep developing this, its very polished, 5 STAR review from me!

Developer

Thank you for playing the game and for your kind words! I am planning on adding more mini games so people don't get tired playing the typing game!

Submitted

Very fun game! My fingers hurt :P
The collectibles was a very good idea, its a good motivation to complete the game 100%.
Also thumb ups for the save system!

Definetely a game that would be appealing on mobiles.

Developer

As I mentioned in discord as well, thank you for playing the game and I'm glad you had fun!

Submitted

I love it and will add it to my collection for one main reason, that it saves status between games!
Please continue to develop this, I want to see the coming soon :)

Developer(+1)

Definitely want to implement more mini games and the combine mechanic for excess collectibles! Thanks for playing the game!

Holy cow! What a great entry. This game screams 100% replay-ability to me! The style is wonderful and consistent throughout and I want to keep coming back for more until I've unlocked everything.

Fantastic job!

Developer(+1)

Glad you are having a blast! cheers!

I didn't understand how to open the boxes :( I tried to click on it, click on 'open box', change the force etc, nothing was coming out of it :/ But still, really nice music and arts and the gacha theme is nice, good job ! :)

Developer(+1)

Hi, thank you for playing! Sorry if it wasn't clear, the button to open the box is the "Gacha" button on the right side. The left "Open Box" tab is to get to the Gacha screen.

Submitted

Ooh I see !! I'm going to replay it then :D Thank you for telling me, sorry if I was clumsy x)

I like the shop mechanic but it was frustrating that some words were basically unreadable until the time ran down to 0.  Well done overall, cute pets.

Developer

Yeah we realized that, but didn't have time to properly fix it so we decided to let it be.  We tried to compensate it by adding +life for getting heroes. Thank you for playing the game and your feedback! Pixel art are mainly by https://pixelfrog-assets.itch.io/

I liked it, I love especially how smooth it is to play the typing game and I think the gacha gimmick is a interesting take on the theme.  Also the visuals are great.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the game :)

Nice audio and visuals fit well together. Good and solid gameplay and nice looking UI. Overall very stylized around one theme.

Developer

Thank you for playing the game! Glad you had a good time!

it was fun. I loved the art and sounds. You made it all fit together well.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! All of them are free assets - the main pixel art is from https://pixelfrog-assets.itch.io/ you should check it out!

Fun!

The gacha definitely got me. I haven't wanted to type this much since Typing Shark

Developer

:D Glad you had fun playing the game!

Submitted

Very unique take on the theme!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing!

Submitted

This is a cool take on the theme. I got 2 heroes, 4 pets, and 1 item before I decided to call it. The typing game was a little frustrating - the keys stopped registering when I hit enter right as the time ran out. I also had a crash (eep!) after opening gachas and going to check my inventory, but I couldn't reproduce. Lovely art!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing the game and your feedback! I will try to do more testing regarding that crash with the gacha.

Main pixel arts for the characters are free from https://pixelfrog-assets.itch.io/
