I love the idea behind this but it started to feel a little repetitive after a little while. It could have done with some different pacing or more variety to keep it feeling a little fresher

Engine
Contemplative Music, paired with stellar Visuals, overall great mood set for this experience.
Only issue I found was that the player gets ONE scrolls usage per level, why not have a cool down? I'd love to keep trying to get the character to the "finish line". maybe consider putting a more obvious goal at the end of the level. Have you ever played lemmings before? very much a similar concept except you are controlling large volumes of characters. Anyway- I like this game and would check it out again if it is still being developed further.
Amazing game, congratulations! It has a very complete feeling. A couple of minor gripes:
This is one of the highlights of the game jam. A pleasure to play and an incredible achievement for your first ever game.
You're welcome! Just to reiterate, the levels that were more than a few units of scrolling are fine staying longer. They give a good reason to scroll. It's only the ones where the finish trigger was just off screen that I had issue with. I'd just bring those finish lines back to fit in the single screen. It could even be a case of forcing the game to a 16:9 or even wider ratio (with letterboxing) to better suit the gameplay!
I was really impressed by the level design. In my view, the amount of "close calls" that I had after placing portals and winning is testament to the superb level design. It's also amazing how complete the game feels. The art is beautiful and the animation fits perfectly.
Although I really enjoyed the music, it didn't seem to fit the game for me.
This is one of the best games I've played in the jam. Excellent work!
I really liked the visuals on this one, and the mechanics were interesting! I enjoyed it :)
Did a video highlight of your entry and a brief breakdown of your source:
Stunning how much content you managed to create for a gamejam project! Great game!
Another refreshing idea on the theme of time , love the art style well polished well implemented well done. ill be adding to my collection.
Very good theme, very beautiful art, perfect audios ... In short, a masterpiece! Congratulations. :D
Such a nice game and idea! Congratz, really liked it! I'd just add a way that the player could cancel after clicking on the spell, even if I click back on the scroll it still casts... So if I click too early I have to see the game in slowmo or restart the level.
Otherwise, it was a great experience! Did you make the art too?
Wow, that was sick!!It seems like I was playing a full game, great work with the level design! Each level has worked well for me, and sometimes I felt like I was reaching the end of the level "by the wrong way", which is an awesome thing. The only level I would change is when you presents the woman, it was sooo difficult than the others hahahahahaha Congratz man! Added to my collection!
The game was fantastic, the visuals and the audio really set the mood. The idea of the game was definitely unique and I love the villagers different pros and cons.
I seriously don't know how long I played this for. If my boss gets mad at me because I'm behind at work, I'm telling her you are at fault! Awesome game, awesome visuals, very creative game play that relates to time! Well done!
