- As an old MOBA lover, I like the style of the game, where you try to power up and defend your minions.

Nice ambitious entry! I feel like the player should respawn after some time when defeated.
I love the speed of the game. Its cool to see a MOBA format for the map. Pretty fun sound effects like bears roaring and fire bugs burning you. I love the chaos the map provides.
It is addicting, that' s always good. Im curious to see if you can get the harvester class to work in the future. Maybe switching the WASD aiming with mouse input would be an improvement?
This game is fast—fast at dying! Anyway, I like it :)
Very ambitious to create a MOBA style game for a game jam, respect! I think the game still needs some work, but it is a good start. Many of the MOBA elements are there, but balancing it and making it feel responsive will need some additional work. The first thing I would change are the controls. Either you go with mouse-only moving and aiming like in MOBA games or at least with keyboard movement and mouse aiming. Then the next thing I would add is a leveling / XP system. Still think it is a very ambitious project and I always recommend to do small games and not aim for AAA style games, because it is very hard to get the same experience out of it.
Anyway, a good start and I am impressed how many of the elements you were already able to put in your game. Congratulations!
Thank you! I agree about the control scheme and that this idea would be better pursued as a long-term project. Ultimately I think this game is more of a proof-of-concept than a prototype. The player growing stronger as the game goes on, along with possibly gaining items/equipment is on my list for sure.
Title Art? Amazing. Menus? Pretty good. The gameplay? ...well...
This game is definitely interesting, I can see this being very nice to play. But there are issues.
1) The amount of health you have is extremely little. Just 3 hits and you can be screwed. Wish the damage enemies gave you was decreased.
2) Why are there spiders? If there is only 2 teams why are there enemies that are against both? I find them annoying to deal with, but not because of them themselves, no no. It's because of...
3) THE. AIMING. Why must you aim with 2 buttons FAR AWAY from each other, AND then use a third button ALSO far from the arrows to shoot? If the aim was just forced to your last directional input I wouldn't mind it. But the way it is now is painfully annoying
Minor nitpick, 4) Why are there graphics of different sizing? I understand making art can be difficult and using ones online is fine, but PLEASE at least resize them so each graphic has a similar pixel density. (Also, the low density ones become blurry due to their size.)
Definitely not a bad idea, but its really hard to enjoy for me.
Thanks for such detailed feedback! I agree the controls were a big miss. I would like to address point 2, the reason that neutral enemies are found in the forest area between lanes is that these neutral enemies are a typical inclusion in a MOBA. https://dota2.fandom.com/wiki/Neutral_creeps
An interesting twist on the MOBA genre! A very cool concept with nice gameplay, good job!
Using the two common movement keys together was a bit of a mind twist. I kept trying to move with WASD and then fire with the arrow keys. lol
Interesting concept and I think it has potential.
Liked the idea, aiming is okay if you aim only at one direction all game long. good job
I actually like the premise of just being a minion in somebody else's MOBA. I think you could do some fun stories with that.
