Considering this is your first game, I think it’s quite good (better than my first game.) Just running and jumping around is fun and feels nice, and that’s a great start. I guess the power theme in the game is that you sprint faster and jump higher the more you “train”. I managed to escape the maze, so I think I won, haha. Well done!

For your first game, nicely done! The graphics are great too, really neat aesthetic you went with. I couldn't figure out how to get past the small opening but jumping around the other area was a lot more fun than I was expecting it to be.

Coool. As a bad pleyer i really enjoyed the jump. Also the main character and the tileset are NICE

Hi!

Pretty cool! I especially liked the jump and acceleration. I'm not at all sure that I was going where I needed to go, but I was able to jump and get out of the lowlands to the top, and then somehow managed to fly into the textures :).

It would be nice to add a menu with control information.

Good start, congratulations!

Hey this is really not bad for a start. What you have going for you is great graphics and animation, so just keep up at it and you'll have a great game.

good start for your gamedev-journey! my first games did not look and feel like that one.

I enjoy the look of the player character and congratulations on making your first game!

A promising start! Solid art and animations. If you continue working on it, I could see it being a nice game in the future!

I think using this jam to start your game development journey was a great choice. It's good to start small, but you did also accomplish a lot in this short time frame for it being your first game

Nice work on your first game! The world and character look very interesting, makes me wish there was more to explore! Maybe you will keep adding to it!

I like the art. Adding a few background layers would enhance the visual experience.

good job for trying your best!

it's your first project so good job and keep working on your game dev journey. If i can give you an advice it's that you could try to play with some smaller idea next time. Metroidvania are very complex.
