- Very interesting concept! There's a lot of game here, more than I first realised. Controls were a bit fiddling, but the NPCs were fun as was laser-swording the monsters. Nice one!

Nice expansive world with many features! You should make it so the player re-spawns with some health.
Cool game! I enjoyed the steampunk aesthetic and enjoyed reading the dialogue of all the NPCs. The scale of the map was quite impressive! Great job!
This game's got a lot going on for it! Tons of characters and content... The music is cool and everything about the look of the game feels consistent ... had a bit of a hard time controlling the player and after my first kill the game kind of broke and froze for a bit. The animations were solid though, the blue motion trail on saber attack is very satisfying to look at!
Everything looks really great an the NPCs are awesome! It took me a bit to figure out whats going on. I would have liked some kind of animation when taking damage. You accomplished a lot here and I hope you will keep building upon it!
Pretty cool and ambitious game but needs some polishing of the basics like hit boxes and movement. I killed all the mobs and flipped all the switches but nothing seemed to happen maybe I missed something?
Thanks. to be honest I sacrificed the end game over the beginning thinking most people will give it 30-40 seconds a few might give it a few minutes, but nobody would make it to the end. So I made everything really easy, screwed up the movement while tying to perfect the animations. And din’t get to make a cutscene. So no you didn’t miss anything. I ran out of steam :-)
But I’m going to fix these things and it’s open source so I expect it to improve
so Steampunk. so RPG. and the best NPCs ever - including me :D (thx)
the doors tricked me at first, as i didnt even attempt to walk through them (the are closed.. haha)
Really happy to see you've used the LPC art. The map is huuuuge. Could be better if it was smaller. I was able to just walk around and ignore the monsters. What happens at the end? I found the last room, with all the good looking NPCs :-D I clicked all the switches and leaks? Good work though!
Unfortunatly this was not the directors cut. Due to time constraints and interference from the movie executives, I had to replace the idea of a cut scene for the hero with a group of volunteers who agreed to act as extras in an absurd unscripted ending where characters from other games where inserted into the plot and congratulated the hero. Just like the Shining scene in the Blade Runner ending, it happens all the time.
Luckily the extras where such good sports!
Interesting, I like the steampunk take on the theme. The art was very nostalgic too and the music added a good backdrop. I'll admit I was very confused on what I was supposed to be doing and how to play at first. Adding a list of controls to the page's description would be a great idea as that would clear up any confusion for people.
The feedback from pulling levers was poor-they were meant to unlock the doors and get incremented in the panel on the right. Even a temporary description until the feedback was in place might have improved the experiece. But I’ll be back at it next week. I document what I do over at the gamedevjs discord channel over the past few months. thanks for the suggestion
