Nice simple game, just missing some badass music xD, also sometimes when pressing on the big bomb the pathfinding would go to it and start “spinning”, had to click it again for it to start defusing

Thank you for playing! Background music was in my plans, but I could not make it on time. I also notice the "spinning around" phenomenon, I ought to at least keep the issue recorded.

This was a cute little arcade title! Just one thing I think could have been done to improve it - I would recommend putting shadows under the objects as they fall, so it's easier to tell where they're going to land!

Developer

You are right, that would have helped a lot! Thank you for playing!

Feels like an old school arcade. I enjoyed it. There's an element to it that feels sort of like a puzzle to make the quick decision of what to defuse in what order.

Nicely little game to pass the time waiting or something.

Some extra effects would be nice but it works.

A pleasant game. It gave me an old school feel like games i used to play in the arcades. You could add some more effects like points showing on top of the player when a bomb gets diffused to add to that feel. While simple it kept me playing for quite some time. Keep it up!

Neat concept, I can see this playing on my phone on a bus. :) Sometimes it felt like I was waiting for bombs and dynamite sticks to fall, sometimes things got quite hectic. My favorite detail is the fact that the player starts diffusing bombs faster when the time is running out. It's forgiving but also makes it feel like you just got by. My stats:

  • Bombs disarmed: 46
  • Dynamites defused: 123
  • Blasts taken: 11
  • Total score: 539

Ludicrous score! Thanks for the fun. Good work!

Gameplay takes fun for me. Good game idea.

Fun to play, simple controls and the coffee was excellent. Spawns seemed to slow down a little bit at the end of each wave but it was a nice break. Great work!

Lovely idea that was executed! One improvement you could have made was adding more of a city feeling or some little shrubs in the background because just looking at a gray and red game is not that fun. But, other than that, great job! This has a lot of potential!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Admittedly, with a bit more time invested, the scenery could have been more diverse.

This game totally has mobile vibe. I can picture myself playing it riding subway :)

Good entry and good luck!

That's a nice mobile phone game, at first I thought the player was vulnerable so I went and try to disarm everything I could, but ran off as soon as I could not. Then I got what's the point of stunning the player when I finished my first run. Good gameplay and the graphics and sound fit quite nicely. Good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Truth be told, it is still a good strategy not getting hit by explosions, since that makes you lose points. :)

Nice looking animations! It's a bit dry on the challenges and maybe we have a hidden healthbar?? i didn't understand why sometimes bombs explode and i get killed and some other times I get stunned. Anyway you succeeded to put it together and even have a web build, ggs :)

Developer(+2)

Thank you for playing! To clarify a few things: 1) the hero is invulnerable! But taking explosion damage stuns him temporarily (more time for bombs, less time for dynamites). If the hero disappeared entirely at some point, that might be a bug. 😶

And yeah, making the game Web first and mobile first was part of my aim for this year. :)

This is a cute little game!

The sprites look good, but the gameplay itself feels a little bit lacking. The concept is fine, but it gets old after defusing a few bombs.

If you give it another thought and implement some more machanics to it, it could become one of those addictive games that causes addiction!

Keep working on it, good job! ❤

Thank you for playing! Plans for adding more entities are a bit out of reach now, but I may keep this in mind in future gamedev endeavours.
