Awesome interpretation. My main issues are that the hole is hardly visible and that I got gravity bonus 4 times in  a row. This modifier is not fun, but all other change game in an interesting way. Music suits the game very well.

I agree about black hole, in development process was even harder to see. I added those little gray sparkles for that reason, but the issue still persists. The gravity FX is a double-edged sword: can be very useful if the black hole spawns on bottom screen, but it turns out useless if it spawns on top.
Also please note, the FXs are not random. Each planet has its own and the one which is nearest the moon, becomes active.

Thank you for the feedback and for playing, Serpent7776!

This is an amazing pool game! I love how you created so many different effects. The art and music are absolutely enamoring too. In terms of charm and gameplay, this game has to be one of the best I've played recently.

Thank you very much DakotaHall! Appreciate a lot.

This is such an awesome game with great physics and graphical effects. The background music is just so immersive, combined with the blackhole effect (when planets get sucked by a black hole), the overall experience is just so smooth and snappy and enjoyable. Also loved the way how you hover over the moon you have the green locking and straight line between the moon and the closest planet. These are the small catchy details that make the game even more immersive and cool.

Loved it.

I think juiciness in a game can be very impactful, that's why I always pay attention to details.
Glad you noticed it; thanks for the feedback and for playing, jazorhe!

Awesome game! Enjoyed every second of it. I love pool irl and haven't played since the lockdowns so this really brought my spirits up.

I love how you took such a simple concept and added such fun mechanics around it. Giving each planet a unique effect was such an awesome idea! Really made me think of where I wanted the cue ball to end up just like real pool even tho the black hole moved every shot. Very well thought out and polished overall. Also really appreciated the tutorial. Great work on the visuals and audio as well.

I would love to see this game fleshed out more. Maybe add levels where only certain kinds of planets appear. Maybe levels where there's more of an "obstacle course" feel and potentials for trick shots/skill shots. I also thought of ideas for how you can use real astronomy to inspire level design. Here's a couple that popped into my head while I was playing:

  • White holes: pushes planets away
  • Supernova: stars that explode when touched
  • Neutron star: very high gravity, pulls passing by objects to itself
  • Wormhole: teleportation shortcuts/traps
  • Gravity waves: slows down objects moving through it

I've got even more ideas but I'll leave it at there haha, I think you get the idea. Would love to see more levels in the future, hope you keep working on it!

Thank you very much, ColorPalette!

Initially my intention was to add 2 modalities, but I was unable due the time. What you suggested really inspired me!
I sincerly don't know if I'm going to expand that, because generally when I finish a project, I immediately switch to new one.
That's because I like more to prototype games instead of stay glued in a single one.

But maybe at the end of the jam, I can consider to add more content. Thanks again!

I enjoyed your game.   It was easy to understand and the controls were intuitive.  The music helped set a relaxing vibe and the black hole effect was well done.  It would have looked better if the planets were more round (less pixelated).

Thank you for playing, TX Brothers!
I was afraid it could be tricky to understand the mechanics, glad to hear that.

It was a personal stylistic choice to use pixel art and give it a sense of 3D, but maybe vector art could give a better feeling. Thanks again for the feedback!

Short, sweet and to the point. Enjoyed my time with this one! Loved the effects each planet brought into the mix.

Absolutely love this game, great audio and visual design. I especially loved the click sounds when the menu screen appears.

Gameplay was also really fun and it FELT GOOD to toss the moon around and have it collide with other planets, really great effects (I'm assuming screen shake and audio cues played a huge role). I wasn't too good at planning where to position the moon in order to get the better FX but nevertheless, great game.

Yeah I agree: mastering the physics require some time.
I've done a lot of play testing but still can't estimate the exact trajectory.

Thank you for the feedback, Daniel! Appreciate it.

THIS IS AMAZING! I really like the background music and the atmosphere around the game. It really vibes the whole gameplay. Although it is a simple and small game, I enjoy it a lot. Great graphics and sound effects too. I rarely find pool games fun for me, but this one actually does. The mechanics are easy and understandable. The how-to-play screen is an impressive way to explain to the players. I support you and hoping you would continue making games! :D

Thank you, TheGamer!
I was aiming for an immersive space-y atmosphere, glad you enjoyed despite your not fond for pool games!
