Brillant little game!

I liked feeling lost and trying to find my way in this upside down puzzle

It was nice to look, sweet to play and escaping was satisfying! What I found amusing was the game allowing me to mark a floating cross in the air by using a chalk on a slime hehe

It liked it! I even had the opportunity to take the treasure!

Good job!

You really flipped the whole game upside down.

Also, I contributed to the chalk counting. Don't know if there is an intended mechanic behind this but oh well.

Really good puzzle design. I did get lost many times, lol.

I escaped.

I never managed to understood how the controls work, why you fall or don't fall, and how you're meant to climb, using the Escape bar or clicking on the button seemed to give different results sometimes and it always took me 10 retries to climb, mashing or not mashing the button since neither seemed to give compelling results on a regular basis.

Yet, I absolutely love the game. The presentation is clean and gives the right atmosphere the game requires, gameplay is super smooth, combat and levelling-up adds some welcome rythm to the experience (I know it's simple but I really enjoy the combat part of this game, it feels super good), and you created an excellent dungeon and that it makes perfect use of the theme is the icing on the cake.

Congratulations!

Short and sweet!

Really great take on the theme as well. Could use a little music / sound effects to give it a little more ambience and feeling.

Overall, a really solid entry! Thanks for sharing it :D

Short and nice dungeon crawler. You crawl dungeons, explore hidden walls and play with gravity, I like it :) Managed to escape from the second try.

There's almost no combat and no reason for there to be traps for my taste. Or maybe enemies/encounters/traps could be of another form, as in this game you just stumble upon them and then they die (or you die sometimes).

Cool game ! Had fun crawling though it :D I was lost for a time but succesfully escaped ! A bit more music/sound design could be nice tho !

I really enjoyed the puzzles in this game and thought they were extremely well designed. It could use some more graphical polish but overall the biggest praise I can give it is just that I've recommended it to so many people to play already.

As soon as you flipped upside down and then realized what had happened we saw that you'd nailed the duality theme. Excellent job. We were expecting to write the number 67 on the wall with chalk but couldn't see how to do it. The verticality worked really well and it was nice to not have to worry about fall damage. The combat wasn't really there, for the time we played it at least. The graphics were very simple but did the job. The intro screen music was nice but we didn't hear any in-game which would have been good as we sensed audio was one of your strengths. Overall good job and we enjoyed playing it and may well revisit it later to progress more. Well done.

Very cool, hit the theme pretty much dead on, very nice looking and smooth gameplay :)

Nice! I didn't know what the chalk mechanic was about at first, but it clicks!

Hey man, I checked your game :)

  • nice presentation, fonts and music and easy controls, what's a better way to start :)
  • impressed by the controls / polished presentation in-game, very retro look and feel :)
  • I loved the first puzzle and finding the key.. It took me a good minute to try walking through the wall, success :)
  • nice and complex dungeon design with spot-on puzzles, I felt at home :)

overall, a great throwback, especially in puzzle department :) You should keep working on this!

I really like the artwork/atmosphere. I'm still dizzy from all the up/down up/down. lol Definitely a good implementation of the theme and a very complete experience! I just wish it had some music. I think it could add a lot to the atmosphere. But that is me just nitpicking.

Really good use of the theme. Turning the world upside-down is a great mechanic. My brain hurts trying to imagine how to map the dungeon but having the chalk is super useful. Also at the beginning when the dungeon told me I'd be trapped forever and the first thing I did was bust down the bars I laughed out loud.

Creepy and great atmosphere!

I really liked the game: nice puzzle, mysterious atmosphere and clever mechanics. At first I didn't understood you could jump and I'm not sure I finished it the intended way (passing over gap without falling). Had a great time nevertheless!

solid dungeon crawler experience; the chalk mechanic is clever

Puzzle games are hard to make, but you did a good job. I wish there were some underlying music and more SFX. Otherwise good game!

Cool puzzle game with a nice use of a few mechanics to give it a different twist. The movement feels really nice, took me a while to figure out you can jump up (probably explained some where). Over all nicely done! was a joy to play.
