The game is awesome. I wish I knew how to heal because I kept getting sent straight to the main menu.

Every piece of it looks like it belongs with every other piece. The mood, lighting, textures (I loved those), ambient audio, it all really felt like it belonged together. I found it very difficult, it required very fast movement to deal with the monsters. After a bit I got the hang of it but the first guy killed me multiple times.
It's a bold choice to make decisions that make the gameplay have more rough edges, like the manual reloading and having to use the mouse for movement as well as firing. I think it worked well! I like it when people take those sorts of risks for a jam; it gives the game more character, even if it means that not everyone will finish it.
Your art was generally fantastic, especially the UI, which fit the setting well. I never did quite figure out what the purple meter was supposed to mean, although it didn't stop me from reaching the (bad) ending.
Great game, I love the ambience and feel of it! Really puts the survival horror in the dungeon crawl. I would have liked some keyboard or controller controls, my wrist got a bit sore playing it (due to injuries from playing way too many other games ^_^), as well as occasionally kept clicking on the wrong button when I was staring into the abyss instead of watching where I was clicking =).
Great game and a bit stressfull at times since managing bullets is hard indeed. I will try to get second ending a bit later. A bit more experimenting in there to do from the looks of it!
It stressfull! The second room with those banshee-looking things is the worst for me, since I always have to kite one to find one more bullet to kill it. I am easily disoriented and it makes games like those especially hard for me hah! Always can't understand where EXACTLY those bullets are. SOMEWHERE TO THE RIGHT RUUUN!
I saw that this game works, but for some unknown reason i can't get it to work. Everytime i startup the game i just get a Peacemaker screen and i cant do anything
"How dare you reject me."
I got the bad ending one million time and eventually managed to get the good one.
Depsite the lack of keyboard movement, the game is super solid.. The presentation is nice, playing is smooth and fast, which was very important here since I restarted so many times, and the combat and resource management content are very good.
Good job, I greatly enjoyed the game.
My god you managed to figure out the good ending? I didn't expect anyone to try hard enough to figure out, great work!
Yea in retrospect, keyboard movement should have been added, I specifically didnt do keyboard movement as a way to make combat feel more frantic [must choose to shoot, run or reload] but I feel like a cooldown on shooting would have been better, like grey out the chamber for 0.5s after moving and block firing for that long.
Thanks for the input glad you enjoyed it!
Really cool presentation. I enjoyed managing the ammunition in tense situations. Wasn't sure if there was a difference between the bullet types but this was a really impressive experience
Impressive mood, the very reduced FOV and blurry pixels works well, you're not sure if you seen a monster or just a flicker of your lighter. I feel like a music and more creepy monster sound would have contributed a lot, but I would not have been to review it then, too creeped out.
