This was a great game, good job

Thanks for the vid and playing! There's plans to flesh it out more in the near future.

Currently working on a full release to come out... when I can finish it. Hopefully soon! Look for a demo for free on itch before I post it on steam :)

v0.0.0.0.0.1 Under Way! - Payback by nelsondev (itch.io)

I'm sorry! I believe the .exe version doesn't have that bug. Thanks for playing so much :)

Haha sorry, there wasn’t enough time to explain some stuff in the game. Old people are more prone to “speed” type moves :)

Thank ya! You can get new moves by listening to the podcasts :)

Thanks for the feedback! I posted a dev log about wanting to continue the game. Hopefully I can stick to it and expand it further.

Yeah I did half movements because of lofty goals that I set on myself 4 days ago when is started. By the time I was like hmm this feels odd with this gameplay it was the last day

I was hoping someone would listen to it! Thank you for taking a look and listen

haha thanks! I’m glad you thought it was funny

No worries, great submission! Being the jam is only a couple days I expect a little bit of obtuseness.

Was a little confusing at first. A wall of text is a hard sell for a tutorial for me. Otherwise it looked great and making a game in java is commendable these days.

Really cool idea for the move time in the combat. Movement felt nice

Graphics look great

Neat graphics, I found just spamming the buttons were sufficient enough to win most battles. Audio was a bit messy, but overall neat idea.

Was this using a 2D engine? Looks cool. I thought the combat was a little confusing to figure out at first.

Turn ends are painfully slow. I also couldn't figure out how much health the enemies had left after hitting them.

Cool concept, would be awesome if you had the time to flesh it out

Movement and FOV are nice, combat was a little confusing though. A control scheme switch was a little jarring

Movement feels great and the shooting feels nice. I died a couple times in cyberspace and my avatar was still reloading. I wish it would reset so I could continue without having to wait around.

I love the combat, great idea. Could be pushed even further if this weren't a 1 week jam!. Movement could have some animation to it, hard to know where you are and what direction you end up facing.

Puzzle games are hard to make, but you did a good job. I wish there were some underlying music and more SFX. Otherwise good game!

Art is great, wish there were more feedback on a few things. It's hard to know when it's your "turn" in battle without explicitly looking. Some sound effects and animations would work well.

haha thanks for playing! I appreciate it. Yeah I started late and didn’t have time to get rid of all the bugs :(

Wondering if anyone would be down to make a group. I'm 23, a corporate developer who spends his time making little games every once in a while. There's a week left in the jam and I think it'd be possible to get a game submitted if I had a teammate or two.

Looking for a Godot Developer / Artist. I'm quite fast at making music so it shouldn't be necessary.

Wow! The graphics and sound are amazing for a 3 day game jam.

Typing games are incredibly fun in my opinion for whatever reason. Good show! Maybe more feedback when the word is typed and you've killed the enemy. Something like the character launching forward and slashing the enemy?

Very interesting game :), the sounds could use maybe pitching differences when they play so it's a little varied. The concept is great.

you'll be fine brother

uwu

Between work and other obligations, not bad progress so far :)

Thanks a ton for the feedback! Greatly appreciated.I'll be working on it
