The music absolutely slaps, and the sfx work really well too! Stylistically, I like it and appreciate the style you went for - it looks good! The design of the characters works well, while the theme challenges what you'd usually find in a typical dungeon crawler which I appreciate a lot!

Mechanically, the game was engaging. The dodging was a good implementation while the items you could use also added an extra thing to look for and utilise.

Well done! Fun game! :3

The combat felt pretty good, good job.

I dont see the theme.

This is a delightful game, but I cannot determine how it applies the theme!

I beat people up. I drank cough syrup.

I used the steroids.

I beat more people up.

Would get beaten again.

I absolutely loved this beat ’em up crawler! So satisfying to take out these thugs in hand to hand combat!

Took me a bit to figure out how to play but damn, this game feel good!

Love the music and retro graphics. Fantastic job!

Nice innovative approach to dungeon crawling. I'm pleased there's a few games that aren't stock fantasy rpgs. Combat was interesting. I went down a lot.

It took me a few minutes, but I eventually got objective: Done

It wasn't abundantly clear which direction I should have been dodging in, but otherwise I managed to spam enough attacks to make it through.

I enjoyed the concept of the street brawling dungeon crawling and the 80's theme / soundtrack was a nice touch.

The timing for the steroids syringe was a bit hard to use, It often ran out before I could get into combat, maybe it should have just empowered a few attacks instead.

Honestly  a pretty solid game here, not perfect but hell we all had a week XD, i enjoyed it, funnily enough I had a similar idea for my game... too bad i couldn't implement it right like you...

I love the combat, great idea. Could be pushed even further if this weren't a 1 week jam!. Movement could have some animation to it, hard to know where you are and what direction you end up facing.

Thanks! I wasn't sure about smooth transition between moves would be fit with my game's retro design. After seeing how many game done it I kinda regret this decision too.

Fun game with fun graphics and a really cool take on combat. Not sure if its intentional or not, but I died and it just healed me and I kept playing from where I died. Movement feels good and it has a nice cohesive aesthetic

Thanks for your comment. When player dies it should respawn at last green  "CP" graffiti (Abbreviation for Check Point) but enemies don't respawn. I do this for player to not stuck at a certain part but probably this makes game more easy than it should be. Probably I should add limited lives but I can't during voting. I would like to check your game too as soon as I get back to my PC.

Ah the check point system makes sense! I most have just died close to a CP and didn't realize.
