Nice game, the aesthetic is very nice and I like the randomised weapon placements. I hope you'll keep working on it post-jam

i enjoyed the spam spacing of the wererats to a sasifyingly squishy death.

Glad you like it! :D

Decent game, but the movement feels too slow, the steps feel too short and the perspective seems too narrow. That said, I think that a realtime crawler where you observe enemy movement and get a drop on them is an interesting idea and I'd like to see more of it. Keep at it!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback, I've noted it and will definitely continue working on this.

The game is fun and already contains fairly detailed enemies' animation and such.

I hope you'll work further on this.

Developer

Thank you for your kind feedback! I really plan on continuing this project! :D

Nice graphics and I like the low res look, but it ran very poorly on my rig. I suspect you render in the desktop resolution, even if it has a low res look. My desktop resolution is 4k, which my 970 can´t do in games. Wasn´t this a Unity game? Why not add the Unity start menu, with the graphic options. Anyway, cool game :)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!  I've added your issue to my board, will investigate it further. Regarding the starting Resolution Dialogue, I actually forgot about it during the jam :D and from a quick search it seems it is deprecated in newer versions. I'll  definitely find a solution though.

Great atmosphere, music and visuals. Combat was pretty tough, didn't figure out at first there's a turn-system behind it. Should definitely be continued post jam

Thank you for the kind feedback! I definitely will!

I really like the aesthetics, but the camera perspective is too narrow and it's difficult to orient. The steps also feel very short. That being said, the game has potential :)

Developer

Thank you for taking the time to play my game and leave some feedback, and also for hosting this jam! I've noted your comments and I'll work on them in future updates.

Lighting is very moody, but perhaps too dark because it made it difficult to see. Perhaps the player should have a light source? Also the torches are casting a big shadow where they probably shouldn't be.

Nice inventory system. Ambience isn't too loud, but it would be nice to have a volume slider. The highlight effect on the switches is good.

Combat is good, it responds properly and gives good player feedback. The variety of weapons is impressive, and I quite like the style, however the sword can clip through walls and when you turn with the sword the animation bugs (but I'm sure with more polish it'd be great).
