I love the grounded interpretation of cosmic horror. The developments were genuinely distressing. But the views back at a thumb-sized Earth and a pea-sized Sun were immaculate, so that makes up for it. Great work!

<Minor spoilers> I couldn't get past sequence A-A-A-A-A, is that the end?

Developer

Thank you!! That isn't the end at all, if you hit the confirm button on any sequence it moves on to the next screen. But I'm glad you enjoyed it up to that point :)

Dang - I did hit confirm on the A sequence but it didn't advance. Weird.

What a fantastic game - I was hooked!

One of my favorites so far. A very simple story and game, but the concept, presentation, and surprising amount of realizm - Give an aura of cosmic dread that is just wonderful.

The terminal is so fun to type in, and the buttons are satisfying to press. The sounds/ambience help you stay immersed, and voice acting is always a plus! There's a really good sense of dread with each progression, made me jump a few times! Handles that isolation aspect of Cosmic Horror really well!

A very interesting concept and a great build-up! The text was a bit difficult to read at times (could be my bad eyes tho), but apart from that I didn't find any problems!

I am a sucker for space games so I naturally loved this. From all the games I have played so far this has been my favorite. Listening to some of those recordings genuinely gave me goosebumps. 5/5 on all fronts, beautiful!

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words, that means a lot :)

That was awesome, got that dread of space just right.

Thank you, and thanks for playing :)

now that it worked for me it is an absolut masterclass and really inspired at that! loved the whole atmosphere

Developer

Thanks!!

Fix uploaded 26/10 - The pause length was read in differently by PCs from different countries/cultures, which made the game unplayable for those in certain countries. This fix ensures that the pauses are read in correctly regardless of your engine.

Fantastic experience! From the beginning all the way to the end the buildup and atmosphere was on point! Loved how you used recordings from the start of the space era and how you incorporated the whole gameplay of protocol sequences and terminal I love playing with terminals, so this was so fun!

The ending was wow I won't spoil it for other players but it definitely evokes that Lovecraftian love. Excellent entry!

Thank you so much!!

i don't really understand what i am ment to do

Developer

Sorry to hear it wasn't clear enough! If you read the console output there should be clear hints on what to do next, usually involving hitting some button or entering some sequence :)

i'll try again with that in mind then
