Well done

Cool game, I especially like the video file you find on the terminal.

Thank you!

I spent two whole days on trying to get the video just right so I'm glad someone liked it.

A perfect setting and a plot that makes you want to keep investigating! The captain's code with the letters gave me quite a few headaches, but apart from that everything worked quite well. Very good work!

Thank you so much for playing :)

Wow, I'm super impressed this was a solo project ... well done! My computer did struggle a tad at one or two points, but in fairness it is a little "ye-olde" at this point. Atmosphere was great, I enjoyed the initials puzzle. Great stuff!

Tbf I didn't spent any time on optimization because I was rushing to finish on time, so definitely some laggy parts depending on the computer.

Thank you so much for playing :)

The atmosphere is really well made. A lot of world building through the notes and emails, I liked that in the story the crew is deliberately using notes out of fear. The pacing is well set by reading through everything and exploring, it really makes you take in the world. The name puzzle was fun to crack and the ending raised some hairs on my neck lol. Really cool game, I'm not sure if you've played Doom 3 but I'm a diehard fan and this game scratched an itch for that game!

Thank you for your kind words. I really appreciate you taking the time to dive into the world and story.

I haven’t played Doom 3 myself, but I can definitely see how it might scratch that same itch!

I liked the tension that is building up and the background music, i wish there's more to do than entering code, but it overall looks really polish :)

Yeah the initial idea was to put some puzzles around the level so you have more to do but I had to scope it down because I wouldn't be able to finish on time. Keeping in mind the cosmic horror theme I decided to lean more on the atmosphere and tension. Maybe after the jam I will expand the game some more.

Thank you for trying it out and I appreciate the feedback :)

Hi loved playing through this except for one part.
The part with the encrypted door code had a very misleading clue insinuating that the captain's number goes first. After trying every permutations of 5 followed by the other 3 digits and doubting myself by trying other names, I eventually started testing other possible orders for the initial 4 digits i had got and found the answer, but this felt like I was wasting my time.
But I really like the atmosphere and the visual design of the station.

Thank you for trying out the game.

You are absolutely right about the encrypted code part. I watched some other people play the game and a few of them had the same problem. It's a poorly thought clue on my part.

I hope you were able to enjoy the game anyway. Thanks again for giving it a try.

OK, but I noticed a bug. This window will not be removed if the ESC button is pressed while this window is being shown.

Yeah, you're right. Was scrambling to finish the game on time so definitely some bugs here and there. Thanks for playing!
