Very charming game! It felt pretty relaxing to do all the chores (maybe it's the "checking boxes on a list" effect?). Watching this little ghost living his own normal life as the same time as our character, in the same environment, but at the same separate from us, really added a second layer to both gameplay and atmosphere (I don't really know how to describe other than it felt pretty nice, a bit otherwordly and again, relaxing).

I did feel like the camera was sometimes behaving a bit weirdly because of walls and ceiling, but nothing that really hindered gameplay. I wouldn't have minded discovering a few more things about the ghost, or maybe having an ending that wrapped things up a bit more, but it would probably have been hard to do in 1 week.

Overall, pretty fun and charming, fits the theme well, great job!

Great atmosphere, you did a great job bringing the assets you had and tying them together into a really compelling environment! I couldn't really see an end in sight so I stopped playing on my third loop but with a story or some way to track progress through the game I could see this being really fun!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I guess you haven’t found Riley? 🤔😁

Fun experience!

Honestly I usually not finish games, but this one I did. It was oddly satisfying and relaxing.

At first I thought that the fact that the interactions just end up with a V on the board, and aren't shown is a minus - but I ended up thinking its a plus - it's not the point of the game and since you do them daily it makes sense to make them less important in the story and eventually it helped me focus on the ghost, and I was indeed curious with what I'll find next regarding it.

Loved it :)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Adding animations and some other visual cues for the interactions was one of the most requested features in feedback (and on my development list, below the dead line). It’s definitely something I plan to add into the game when it’s time for a neat polish.

The music was a very chill choice. The ending felt disjointed from the rest of the game; I though it would go somewhere more interesting. The slice of life chores were enjoyable in moderation.

Neat entry.

Developer

Uuu!… I’m really curious where you thought the story would go!

Thank you for playing the game and for the feedback!

I didn't have anything to specific in mind. I thought that maybe doing the chores was a build up to some reveal by the end with the ghost. Instead of the chores seemingly being separate from the ghost sightings.

This was an expirience. And it was good. Like whole ambient and music pretty well matched, and it leaves you wth that music long after you left the game :) Camera could be better, maybe just adding invisible coliders wherever you dont want it to go.

Thank you for the feedback! It really helps to know what players would enjoy and what bugs they call out! Thank you for playing as well!

Good graphics and story. I really liked it! Well done!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you experienced it!

Interesting little story. Good job!

Developer

Thanks! Grateful for the play-through!

At first it was a little confusing. After figuring out you had to observe the ghost the game wasn't so repetitive anymore. The music matched the vibe and it was a fun, unique experience. Maybe just polishing the UI a bit would help.

Developer

Thanks! Glad you got to meet Riley!

I  really liked it ! Gameplay was a loop, but since it is such a quick one, it is not disturbing.

The mood is what really got to me ! Music was awesome !

I found the end to be a little underwhelming though, but I believethis is nothing unsolvable ! :)

All in all, great stuff ! :D

Developer

Yeah! More levels comin’ up!

Submitted(+1)

Nice game. I think you nailed the mood as a whole.

Some story would have been nice and I'd preferred if you had more control over your camera. Maybe some sort of interaction animations.

I could see other levels as well

Good job!

Developer

Thanks for the encouragement! Yeah! Your feedback is aligned with the intention we were going for! We really should do a few more levels, like… a cat lady ghost with all of her cats!

Beautiful game ! Love the fact that you observe "suspicious activities" while literaly seeing ghost, which is a little bit more than suspicious

Would have loved to have a little story about everything, but as you said, you had a lot of other ideas that did not make it into the build

Great entry !

Developer

Yeah, that we would actually have to polish out and make the text better aligned with the actual situation. Perhaps that would even change to “You’ve seen a ghost! Now get to meet it!” 😁

Really good job on the game, very simplistic but works very well, my one complaint would be the difficulty that using the camera had in the house, other than that very good job on submitting, and good luck in the jam! (I also believe I saw you playing a game on video from the jam and would love something similar to help with mine) =)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! Indeed that camera script is a doozie! Needs fixin’.

And yeah! Glad you asked! I’ll get you in the queue!

great game!

Thank you! You’re too kind!

I love the chill ambience! The idea is great and the execution is really good =). I would have loved to know a bit more about the story behind this, the end felt a little bit flat without any explanations, but in such a short time, I cannot complain too much about that ;).

Great entry, congratulations!

Developer

Cheers! You inspire me to continue working and deliver the whole story!

Great game, good job!

Cheers!

1- it will be better to let the tasks in order

2- The game looping, the game need an end

(+1)

It does end, when you find all the interactions.

Developer

Have you found Riley?

Love your art style.

Developer

Thanks! I only made the game experience; credit for the visual art is at the top of this page. I’ll make sure I add it to the front page as well!

Great job! The camera was a little finnicky, and I would've liked to see changes in the environment when I did dishes or ate breakfast... But I really liked this. The art and set dressing were lovely.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Thanks for the suggestions! They match my “to do list”, all of which fell below the line. I’m considering adding more content after after the two weeks are up!

I liked it a lot, nice fit to the theme.

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice atmosphere. I feel like the story should be deeper since that is the core of the game. Loved the animation for the ghost.

Developer

Thanks! Indeed, the story goes deeper! This is the only thing I was able to code this week, while also learning Unity. :D
