Thank you for checking and for your reply! I appreciate your help, and I’m glad the game is indexed now. Your support means a lot - not just to me, but to the whole developer community.

Thanks again!

Thank you so much for your response!

I’ve already contacted itch.io support — my ticket number is 309333, in case it helps.

Really appreciate your attention to this issue!

Hi itch.io support and community,

I’m looking for clarification and help regarding the visibility of my game “Space dice”.

The project was published, fully public, and initially received good traffic — it even appeared on the top row of the featured jam entries for a while. I filled out all metadata, added a cover, screenshots, description, and the game received active engagement and plays. However, after I made some edits to the page (game description, screenshots, tweaks to layout), my project suddenly stopped appearing in search and browse results. From what I can tell, it seems to be in manual review, because it’s now completely unsearchable by title, and views dropped sharply since then.

I’ve double-checked all my project settings and reread the official documentation regarding indexing and best practices. I’m certain all requirements are met. I already contacted itch.io support (about two weeks ago) and haven’t received a response so far. I’m worried that my entry is missing a critical jam exposure window.

Could you please clarify:

Is there anything I’ve missed that could be delaying indexing?

Is my project or account flagged for some reason?

How long does manual review typically take, and is there anything I can do to help speed up the process?

Is it normal for a previously indexed project to become invisible after edits?

I appreciate any advice or experiences from other developers who faced something similar. Thank you for your time!

Nice idea, with attractive and smooth gameplay!

I hit five exact values in a row. Nice game, well done!

Thanks for playing. I think you can reach the shipyard to assemble the interstellar ship and be safe!

A great idea and excellent execution!

Done!

  • The characters speak without subtitles. Many players don’t understand what they’re hearing.
  • Where is the attack’s hitbox? The enemy takes damage only when I make direct contact with them.
  • The upgrade pricing…

So, I enter the level without understanding why I’m doing it. I run over enemies, trying to stay alive and grab the money. And I die over and over.

Still, I get some enjoyment from it. Keep going!

Cute little game!

Very cute game!

In some situations, the tutorial is even more enjoyable to play. You can concentrate on the main mission “making cookies” without any timing or platforming challenges. 😄

It was very risky to burn the whole deck of resources for fuel. The factory to produce equipment is placed on the planet where you found the blueprint. And yes, the replay button is broken. Sorry about that…

Thanks for the review!

My inspiration was The Outer Wilds and The Dicewood. About the softlock situation: yes, I didn’t check for a possible lockout that would require you to restart the game. Thanks for playing!

The atmosphere of the dark game is excellent. The movement isn’t very clear. There’s some inertia and the floor feels slippery. But the frequently placed checkpoints gave me a chance.

I spent several tries to understand what was going on in the game, but I didn’t get tired. I figured out the strategy to win—and did it. Nice game!

The Blood Ritual card can receive only one die per turn

Not a bad concept, but… How can I complete the card with 30 points? I have five dice. The probability, on average, is once every 7,776 years. Hmm…

Thank you for the feedback!

While flying to the shipyard, you explore planets for blueprints and crafted the necessary equipments for the interstellar ship. The cross over the equipment means you didn’t craft it during your flight.

I can’t complete that f*ing IQ test! 🤬
