I really liked the artstyle and dashing gimmik in this game, dash was satisfying to use. Also nice concept of switching blocks on and off to progress. Levels here were quite difficult for me though, especially toggling two different blocks was difficult to get used to. It was a great experience anyway, nice job :)

Developer

Thank you for the very nice comment, we are glad you liked it! Yes, the concept took us a while and we hope it was executed decently at the very least, because yes, it is a very difficult game in the end. Thanks!

I love the graphics so much, they are simply amazing! I got to play it a lot, I really like the idea. Amazing work!

Developer

Thank you! Every single comment like this just makes our day and shows us that the week of pain was all worth it. we are glad you enjoyed it!

Maybe you want to check out my game too, it would be really awesome! ^_^

Developer

I'll check it out later for sure, I'm just overwhelmed with the number of comments so I might do it tomorrow!

I had difficulty hitting C which I would have made it further otherwise, but the feel of the game was great. Music and SFX were great!

Developer

Could you share with us why it was hard for you to hit C? We accidentally left both controls in, arrow keys as well as WASD, if you happened to play the game with WASD then it can be very difficult for sure!

And thanks for the nice comment!

Submitted

Oh I was using WASD, I didn't even consider the arrows!

Love the art in this game, reminds me of Hidden Folk and Chicory a Colorful Tale.  The control scheme is really brutal for me but the base game is great!

Developer

Thanks for the comment, I only saw the games you mentioned and its true they do have some similar aspects, kudos to our artist for bringing our game to life. Sorry if it was harder to control, we are taking notes already from all the feedback, you're not the only one who struggled. Thank you!

The swapping mechanics feels quite difficult to get used to :S - especially when you have to time everything well: jumping, swapping materials, dashing and more swapping of materials. But in total very nice game :)

Developer

Yes, it ended up way more difficult than anticipated at the beginning, if we were to remake the game, we would definitely redesign it a bit to make it less input-heavy.  Thank you for playing and the nice comment!

Hey, I just played your game and really liked it. I am pretty impressed that you could create this in just 7 days. Unfortunately, I have to create my game in 2 days becoz of exams. I really admired the way you guys created the tutorial. Also, I would be really happy if you play our game and rate it

Developer

Hey, thanks for the comment, we are glad you liked it! It's a shame you didn't have more time, sometimes it cannot be helped, but what matters the most is that you joined and submitted something, I bet you had fun and learned a lot! Since we had a week for the game we tried to do an interactive tutorial/menu rather than just text-based, I think it is a nice touch but definitely not mandatory. I'll check your game later!

Submitted

Yea the 2 days sucked. Goodluck with the jam.

I must express I really love the art style, and overall it was a lot of fun to play! Great game! ^^

This is really good work! A great idea, good art, nice music, and it's even a bit difficult. It's very fun good job

Developer(+1)

Thank you, we are really happy to hear read that!

Submitted(+3)

Art and music is good! but it is so hard to me, i’m not good at using arrow keys to control, i think should set dash and items keys to “J” “K” “L”.

Developer

Thank you, we're really glad you like it! We were planning on allowing users to re-bind the controls to their liking, but we unfortunately didn't have enough time for that.

Submitted(+2)

But still a good work!

Truly a great game! The puzzles are great,  the art style is awesome, and it's just so fun.

Developer

Thank you, we really appreciate the comment. Glad you enjoyed it!

The best platformer I have played from the Jam. Loved the control of the platforms and the art was great to look at while zipping through the map

Developer

I don't know if we deserve such big praise, but we love to see someone enjoying the game so much! Thank you!

Not going to lie, one of the best games I've played in this jam so far: from the visual and sound elements to the programming, everything is so smooth and comfortable to play and look at.

You nailed it. Congratulations!

Developer

Thank you! This really means a lot to us, since we made everything (excluding the unity engine)! We are glad it's appreciated and happy you liked it!

Submitted(+4)

Wow, i really like the music and the art and the control are smooth too good job!

Developer

Thank you, we are glad you liked it!

Nice art and music. I'm not very good at using the arrow keys for platformers though.

Developer

Thank you for the comment! Having WASD as the main control was planned but it just felt awkward to put other controls somewhere on the right side of the keyboard and we didnt want to use our time implementing controls changing and use our time somewhere else, so we hope you understand!

I loved the artstyle! and the gameplay was fun and unique

Developer

I'm glad you liked the game play and the art style, big kudos to our artist for that!

I like the design, and the dashing is fun! Nice idea and artwork for the "is not real" indicator.

Developer

Thank you, we are really glad you enjoyed it!

I really like the art style of this game. Feels unique and polished compared to most game jam entries. 🔥

Developer

Thank you! One of our goals was to try to do more polishing this game jam, we wanted to polish it more but I guess you know how it goes during game jams haha.

Hey! Played through the main level, but the second part was too hard for me. Kudos to the game designer, really nice platforming + great art!

Developer

Thank you! Sorry if it was too hard, some parts sacrificed the easiness in exchange for more level experiments.  Glad you enjoyed the main level though since I spent more time on it.

We are happy you liked it though, our artist really brought the game to life!
