Simple but clever platformer. Haven’t seen something using symmetry yet.

I like this game very much, but at some point I just rage quitted. The graphics are very well done. The background music is very relaxing and platforming is pretty good. When it comes to feedback, I believe you should reduce the force of gravity. The player falls too fast which makes precise jumping almost impossible. Adding checkpoints would make the game a lot less frustrating. Overall, I think it's a great game that needs some adjustments. Great job!
If you have a minute, please check my game too :)
I like the graphics and the shapes made out of it !! I really love the puzzles with the twist ! Awesome job in total ! Rate mine also !
Well made movement and nice graphic.
Those unreal platforms were a bit frustrating but fit to theme. Good job!
I particularly like this game because it gave me one of those "Ooohh!" moments that are so lovely in puzzle games. At first, I thought that the right side of the screen would always show the "true" layout and would reveal what the left side actually looked like. In the level where the crawly enemies are first introduced, I fell through the platform on the right side of the level and that made me reconsider. My new hypothesis was that only things that were real were the ones that appeared on both sides, so I jumped into the enemy on the ceiling of the right side and I passed through it. That single moment raised my opinions of this game quite a lot since I realized that there was some clever stuff going on.
I also enjoy the visual style. The enemy designs are unique and the player character is cute and well-animated. The background music has a particular "vibe" that I very much appreciate.
However, I do have some small complaints: I think the enemy hitboxes were a bit too unforgiving (you could die without visibly touching the enemy) and the 5th level feels very incomplete and quite frustrating to play. I understand that was probably due to time restrictions but I think it may have been better if it weren't included in the state it's in.
Thank you for your kind words and playing our game, we had it in mind that the levels with fixed camera was going to have one side as the real one, and the levels with moving camera was going to make you pay attention to the level before arriving at the other side, so you can figure out which one of those in the new area are fake ^^
And I totally feel your complaints, as the person who were responsible for the enemies and the 5th level even I get annoyed a lot while playing it. The last 3 levels were added in the last few hours before the deadline and I had to rush them to at least have few levels we can present the idea better, but I ran out of time while working on the 5th level Dx
But again thank you so much for playing our game, we're really happy to hear you enjoyed it ^^
I really liked the main mechanic of the game and I found quite useful that you can manage how high you jump by holding the spacebar. Also, the music and sound effects were so good! What software did you use to do these? However, some levels were quite hard. Always remember, if the levels are normal for the dev, they are too hard for others! But overall, very good game.
Yeah the levels being hard and empty was due to the lack of time we had for them ^^; The last three levels were added by me the last few hours before the end of the submissions, and I ran out of time in the 5th level (You can probably tell Dx)
Also we used Bosca Ceoil for the music and Bfxr for the sound effects ^^
You can find the music here if you wanted ^^
I was really surprised on how the game actually works, and it's done quite well ! The music so calm and chill, the cute graphics and the simple gameplay, well it's a great job !
Really good job creating this game! It took me a little bit to figure out how it works, but after that it was very fun to play! I would love to see more levels for this game :3
Amazing work! I really liked the use of the line to indicate symmetrical cuts in the level and the way you played on that. The movement was really good and you managed to do a lot with a small amount of mechanics. I also really liked the pony. Best platformer I've played for this jam.
That was fun! Really like the main character + animations! Art all fits too, nice work!
The walking sfx audio is a little ruffled and its a bit much to have to jump into every ceiling to see which is fake. I kept getting stuck in the platforms in that level too, maybe make the jump a bit higher?
Overall its good!
Yeah we didn't have too much time to improve it's imperfections, that's why we also only have 5 levels and it's a bit empty since we ran out of time ^^;
The blue line you see in the maps are to indicate where the symmetry occurs, in that level you can check the other side to see where the holes are placed ^^
And thank you playing our game and for your kind words ^^
