How does you game fit the theme?
Word play in the title, and by the end of the game you produce "fake" fish using a factory and drive away all the real fish.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes. The only asset not created by myself and my team is the Chill Pixels font, which is a free for commercial use font.

Wow this game was so polished and fun. Can't believe you all made this in only a week! One of the best I've played, great job.
Loved all of this, from the fading entry title to the final message!
I'm amazed by the graphics style and the music! And the gameplay is great too! I would love to play a bit more with the net (you developed three fishing mini-games, why was the third used so rarely?), but overall the game experience is incredible.
Congrats, fantastic submission!
This game is very relaxing to play and I enjoyed it quite a lot. Love the BGM and the Art Style! You guys really made a wonderful game for such short time!
I loved your game! It was very realxing and I really liked the art style. The gameplay was really nice too. I had a lot of fun!
this was a pretty relaxing game. loved the play on words for sure. I ended up spending more time playing than i was originally planning lol gj!
I love this game, I have a suggestion though, maybe make some more things that happen, so that way this doesn't become a idle game or something like that.
Love the game. The art and sound are very relaxing. The message of modern food production is also very clear. Amazing job
Definitely glad the message came across ^^ Thank you so much, we're happy you enjoyed it!
Of course! I'd appreciate if you could play and rate my game too!
I love this game! Very polished, the cute pixel art, the sound effects, the music, the fact that it's forgiving when you don't exactly land on the bar with the harpoon but still reward you when you hit it perfectly. The progression feels great as well.
Great entry
We're so glad you think so! Thank you for playing ^^
Very comfy and fun game. Great idea to consolidate a bunch of different fishing minigames into an idle game. There's definitely something here!
Thank you so much :D glad you enjoyed it!
Well done!
Thank you!!

cool game, nice effort, Rated!
can u check out mine too? would be a huge help: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-7/rate/1418965
Thanks for playing, can't wait to play your game!
I really liked how you made a quick play and longer play option for the player. I also really enjoyed this little world you made. I got real Stardew Valley vibes when playing.
The mini games you created were honestly a lot of fun. For some reason though I found myself not enjoying the fishing pole one as much. I think it was because the other mini games were super quick and simple, and then the fishing pole one made me frantically spam my mouse and found it actually kind of hard at points. It almost took me out of the chill vibes world you had created for the player.
Other than that one feedback, this was a great game and I really enjoyed it. Thank you!
Thank you so much for that detailed feedback! The fishing rod minigame was definitely our weak point so we hope to improve in the future!
So you implemented the Stardew valley fishing mechanism, with a shorted hit bar. :) Great work by the way and a fun game to play. The font is not so readable in the shop (the prices were soo blurry for me not full screen on a 2k monitor). Great entry, nice game!
Glad you liked it! Probably should have gone with a different font once the issues started coming up but by that point the jam was near over, something for the future! Thanks for playing!
This game needs to be made into a full-scale game!! It's just amazing. Congrats on the great submission🎉🎉
Thank you so much :D We do hope to turn this into a full game in the future!
Excellent game! The gameplay is very smooth and well designed, the pixelart and animations are excellent, the fishing mechanisms are fun, and the progression through fishing techniques worked very well. Your use of color/art as the game progresses was really impressive; I built my factories and felt...not great. I had the issue with the hover-text being nearly transparent (hadn't seen your refresh comment below yet), so I couldn't read some of the store texts, but I could see enough at times that I got the idea. I played to the end and I was happy to give this game a very high rating. Nice work!
Whoa that is so nice of you to say!! I really wanted to use the shift in saturation to drive home the impact that building the factories do to the whole scene, so I'm very happy to hear this :] Thank you so much!
This was a very chill and awesome experience. I love the pixel art, it's really amazing to see what you managed to do in one week. The gameplay was also fun, it reminds me of Stardew Valley.
Great job, I don't really have any feedback, you did very well on your own! Congrats!
I would love to have you playing mine too, if you don't mind of course! ^_^
Thank you so much for playing! I intend to play all the games of my commenters when I have enough time, little swamped at the moment but I will get to it!
This was really really fun! I don't have a single complaint, great job!
so glad you like it! Thank you for playing :D
I little too repetitive after some time, maybe having more money at start, so we can quickly have more stuff to do
thank you for your suggestion! Sounds really good :D
cool game
Thanks for playing!
The art and music are great and the gameplay loop is solid. I will say the progression was a bit slow and I ended up becoming a bit too bored of the game to even get to the factory as a result. Overall though good job!
thank you for playing! Definitely want to make the progression feel better is there any one thing in particular that really turned you away?
I think the amount of money I was making tied with how repetitive the fishing activities got was the reason I decided to leave before getting the factory. I did like the mini games but sadly they started to get stale a bit too fast for me personally
definitely understandable thank you for the detailed feedback!
