How does you game fit the theme?
The main character is plagued by creatures that are not real when she's low on sanity. Furthermore at the end we realise that she may not even be her real self.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
The code was all written by myself, @Carré (not without checking a bunch of tutorials on youtube when stuck), all the art assets were made by @Croustille. We did all the sounds ourselves but did not compose the music (credited in the description).

I really enjoyed the game you've made,
it gave me the heebie-jeebies.
You did an amazing job,
in creating an atmosphere so damn creepy.

I really loved the art style of the game,
the audio also set the mood.
I wasn't sure how the sanity affected us,
some enhancements there might do good.

I think this game is promising,
and you could create some fun gameplay.
Keep working on creating challenging levels,
a v2 of this game, I'd love to play :D

Amazing use of the 2D lights! Loved the level design of this game. Great work.

Very well made horror game. I already tried 2D lighting in Unity and I remember it wasn't that easy to do, so good job ! I also tried to make a horror game for this jam but it isn't completely finished.

Very spooky!

Sounds were few but worked really well. the way you animated the attack of the gremlin creatures was incredibly unsettling, which was fantastic, Not to mention an effective use of time during development!

Excellent use of lighting in particular, and the soundscape is really great. I love that you recorded all the creepy ghost whispers yourself. I just wasn't really sure what the strategy against the monsters was supposed to be--since you can't fight/dodge/hide, it seems like they're either fast enough to hit you or they're not.

Scary and creepy game.

Nice concept - I really liked the lighting and the Amnesia: The Dark Decent style craziness meter. The screen distortions and flying ghosts were great, but I also liked the fact it progressively slowed your character movement. If I have one criticism it's that the game felt too easy. There was always plenty of time to reach the next light source and the creatures were too slow to actually ever hit me.

It was a really nice idea though and could definitely be fleshed out into a longer game!

(Oh, and I loved the creepy ending screen!)

Wow those red eyes on the ending tho. Good horror vibe! Great work

The lighting was really good and the monsters were creepy.

I like the light mechanic where I can recover my speed when I'm in the light. The drops are a really nice touch since some of the enemies can effectively block my way and hit me multiple times. Overall, good stuff!

The music really fits the style of the game, really spooky. The gameplay itself was rather simple, but that's ok :]. Overall a good job!

This was really cool, and had a creepy atmosphere. The art and audio were excellent, matching the tone superbly. The lighting effects were also pretty captivating. The main thing I would change is the enemy speed; it was pretty easy to outrun them, and they didn't attack me enough to where I had to worry much about my health. Still, this game was an awesome play.

I loved your sound design. It was giving me real goosebumps and conveyed the atmosphere perfectly.

The monsters could have been a bit more aggressive and deadlier ^^

If you have some time I would love to get a rating as well:

really well done sound design. i do wish the game was a bit longer tho but other than that great game

Very atmospheric indeed! The sound design on this one is particulary strong - was afraid right from the start. The purpose of the purple bar and the fact that lights are a gameplay element could be emphasized. And i liked the end screen - wished for an intro screen as well to get to know your main character a bit more. Congratulations to your entry!
