How does you game fit the theme?
My game fits the theme because there are two main kinds of blocks in my puzzle game: ones the player can go through (the not-real ones) and the ones the player actually collides with (the real ones).

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all of the code for my game. The only assets that weren't from scratch and from me were the font, the sounds since I used an SFX creator, and the background music.

It's a really cool idea for a game and is very creative. Puzzle games are one of the hardest games to make and I think you did well with this one

Thank you and thanks for playing!

Not bad! It could really use some tutorial text, and I wish the squares that started on the same number but counted down from different numbers were distinguishable from each other. Pretty solid.

Thank you for the feedback!

Good game and it could have been even better if it was a little more explicit, I think adding a tutorial would be a good idea. it should also make the ui more explicit (I found the list of blocks by chance), I think you should add icons, which greatly improve the thing

But anyway good job :)

I'd appreciate it if you want to try my game too, I'm with some rates :D

Thanks!

I like your approach to the theme--using it as a core element of the gameplay.  The puzzles are nice too, and the concept is fun.  My main critique would be that it would be nice to be able to test the level without having to place each block into the game, as after a while it gets pretty tiresome especially since there's no way to know where the moving platforms are going to move until you hit play.  But overall, your game is surprisingly polished and fun!

If you have time, I would greatly appreciate it if you could rate my game too.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I’ll see if I can get you your game soon!

I love the graphics, you choosed a good color palette!  Also you made a good polish in this game.

The game mechanics good but not clear at start, maybe adding some easiest tutorial level could help. (the first 2 level explain well the two block, but the first lvl with counter blocks was not easy)

Developer

I completely agree. I plan on working on that aspect for my next game jam. Thank you for the feedback!

Cool puzzle game. A little bit hard to understand what is happening but nice gameplay elements.

Such a simple mechanic, but you can do so much with it. I love it and the rest of the game design. It felt very rewarding to figure out how to finish a level.

Hey!

First of all, great game! I love the audio and the visuals are really great. It was really fun solving those puzzles and the SFX were very nice!

If you want some feedback, here's mine: I think you should make a tutorial on the game explaining the core mechanic so that the player understands what he has to do. Other than that, you really did an amazing job.

Really great work. Congrats on making this game alone in one week, I love it!

I would love to have you playing mine too, if you don't mind of course! ^_^

This game was super challenging but also super fun! Maybe needed more of an explanation for the different kinds of blocks but overall super great game with great puzzles!

Thank you so much!

This game was actually pretty fun at the start, I just didn't really understand what every block does.

I eventually gave up at level 4, but this was really fun.

If there was like a tutorial or something that can just explain, it would have been better, but I'm glad I tried this game!

You can try my game :)

A puzzle game! This was really fun, I had a great time figuring out the puzzles (once I figured out how the game worked). Levels 4 & 5 were much harder and I couldn't intuitively solve the puzzles anymore so I resorted to just placing blocks anywhere and moving them around until it worked. If you choose to expand on the game I would have loved a few more easy and in between levels. Overall a great game that I hope you continue to develop!

Developer

Thank you so much for the feedback! I really appreciate it and I'm glad you liked the game!

I enjoyed figuring out the puzzles by trial and error, although I wasn't able to figure out how the mechanics work exactly until the end. Maybe I'm just dumb :)

Developer

Nope! You're not dumb lol. A lot of people were confused so it wasn't just you. I'll have to add in a tutorial next time. Thank you for playing!

A tutorial text is okay (especially in a game jam). Better would be a level or two where you have to apply the main mechanic in a simple way so that the player gets it immediately. Like you did in the second level with the seesaw. That was great cause it makes in instinctively clear that you can travel through grey bricks but not through white. If you can add a level like that for the numbers that would be awesome!

Developer

That’s a great point!

Oooo I love getting to find puzzle games in a jam! This was fun though I kept getting real unlucky with a weird bug where, the sort-of "pull tab" for items would suddenly just disappear after grabbing one or two and I'd have to restart. Other than that I enjoyed what I was able to play! (Small suggestions, any way to make the second puzzle just a hint faster visually? I think that'd make it feel just that smidge better)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

Nice game! Good candidate for a mobile game. The puzzles were great. I missed a way to manually restart the level and I wasn't clear from the block whether it would count down from three some times. But cool game!

Developer

Yeah, a lot of people have complained about that, so I'll work on that next time. Thank you for playing and for the feedback!

nice Game you can win this jam

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! That means a lot!

Nice work! It's a great, creative puzzle concept that I think you could keep pursuing.  For whatever reason, it didn't bother me that I couldn't anticipate the exact motion of the platforms until setting it in motion once, but I really wanted to know the mechanism of each block just by looking at them in the side-menu so that I could logically evaluate and order them.  In puzzle 4, for example, there are two white "1" blocks in the side-menu that behave differently (one flipping back and forth to gray 1, the other flipping to gray 3 and counting down), so if I understand correctly, their initial number and color (other than solid white or solid gray) don't tell you the behavior.  My gut was that a visual indicator of its pattern would put more focus on logic, and would require less trial-and-error gameplay.  I realize that may just be a matter of taste in puzzles and others may disagree :).  I hope that's useful feedback!

This is a creative concept that I liked -- really nice job!

Developer

That feedback is awesome! Thank you so much!

Submitted(+1)

Very cool concept. I feel like this could be expanded into quite a good full game. :)

Developer

Thank you very much!

Overall great game. As the others here already said, there should be a bit more explanation. Also I think one should be able to see the states of a block e.g. when hovering over it. Additionally a button for toggling the current and a faster speed would be nice

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! What do you mean by a button for toggling the current speed? And thanks for playing!

Submitted

I mean an option for running the game faster. In level 5 it was quite frustrating figuring the last 2 pieces out, because I always had to wait so long for the cube to get there

Developer

That’s very fair. Thank you for the feedback.
