Great job, I would like to have some objects to health the player and I like the slow-motion effect.

Great work! Cute vibes too

Very Cool gamemechanics. Love the artstyle and gets very chaotic after few waves. Well done!!

Well done team! I enjoyed this game quite a bit. The swingy knife blade felt good, and the difficulty curve was a nice touch. I think the waves felt a little long overall. Once you get the bats grouped up, the waves get a little more manageable and it feels like a game of patience more than anything else. Unfortunately, I forgot about the time slow until the end of the last wave... It didn't seem super necessary. I found that in the later waves, slow movements and well timed jabs did a lot more than trying to maintain momentum. I got through on the first go and had a lot of fun doing so :)

If you ever get around to it, I do hope you try the windows version with some headphones on!
I put a lot of effort into it and Unity WebGL didn't like it very much. Lol.
Thanks for stopping by, would love to collab with you sometime!

Really well done!

Great slow motion effect

Really tricky to handle the blade but I guess that is why it is out of control. The way the momentum builds up as you swing more just feels great. Music is also quite relaxing for a game that builds up stress over time so that keeps things going. Art is also very cute something rather different instead of vector or pixel art! Awesome mini game!

Quick note, I haven't realized there was slowing time until my 4th playthrough. Maybe the instructions can be more visible/bigger or grouped together on the screen.
Also adds a lot more juice to the game with the slow mo!!

I had a lot of fun with this! The whooshing sounds were really satisfying, and it felt super great cutting through enemies!

The difficulty was also right on point, not so hard I can't play, but not so easy it's a pushover.

Overall, had a great time playing this one!

Well done! The concept is amazing and it really is chaotic. Keep up the good work!

I really like this game. The slowing down time, the different moves you can do, all very cool!

Really well done, I like the game mechanic and how you tuned the different waves.

Do the enemies get harder as the levels progress or am I just getting worse? Really simple concept done really well. How'd you create the art, was it hand drawn and scanned in or just made to look that way? Great job!

Developer

thanks, viper161616! the art was made hand drawn digitally to make it look like it came from a 5 year old’s sketchbook intentionally. it was my first time doing hand drawn animation so I did so to save time and to give some charm without adding details

Developer

The only change per wave is the length of your rope! :) Thanks for playing.

Really cool and innovative to me

Kind off made me think of that old 'kick your boss' game for on mobile, this game was simple yet fun!

Could you play my game too? https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-6/rate/1174314 , would be appreciated.

I was killed in the third wave and dishonored my family. I feel ashamed now.
