I like the graphic and the song! I like to see my gang members dance around me with the song and it gives me a strong sense of achievement! One thing is the ending is too abrupt. I'd love to see more variation of the rhythm and larger map in the future! 

The game art and music are awesome but the game clearly lack of real gameplay. (more variation in the rythm game will probably fix that)

I liked this game especially as the music got bigger. However, one area that could be improved is having the rhythm attacks be synced with the music. I know that would be difficult but would definitely help and not feel like I'm trying to fight with the song but I understand why you probably couldn't have. It's still a great game with a lot of potential!

Awesome game! I'm a playwright and musician, so you really combined two things I love haha.

Would love to see more varying / progression of gameplay to help the game's pacing match the growing music as it crescendos and layering / textures increases, as there's room to explore for the gameplay as you expand the game in your future versions!

Very chill and fun game, absolutely loved the music and the fact that it evolved with the number of gang members you have. My main criticism is that it can be difficult to spot the character your actually controlling when the group gets larger so it can be a little bit harder to dodge police or launch the encounter with an other group, a way to differenciate him from the other gang members would have been great. Other than that I absolutely loved the game and would really playing a longer version with more levels and musics.

I liked the idea of the adaptive music, but I found a little annoying detail that I know is very hard for the programmer: the snap animation in the dancers was not synced with snaps if the music. Apart from that, great game.

Very comical game! my biggest critique is that the yellow text on the red background is a bit harsh on the eyes, but other than that, I didn't see many flaws!

Okay game, but the music kind of felt out of place.

This game was amazing! Definitely an interesting interpretation for the theme. I love the spicy animations and how there were extra dances and moves some gang members would do. The song was awesome and catchy too. I have a suggestions for things to add if you plan to continue working on this later on.

-I would've liked a little more feedback when you got a beat, maybe the visual for the hitbox could've grew a little bit or a little music note hovered above it

-When you got more gang members, what if the hitbox for beats increased a little bit each time? 

-The hitboxes for the city felt a little janky, especially trying to walk around or in between cars

Adored this game, one of my favorites from the jam so far! It was hilarious, the palette was super easy on the eye, the animations were full of life and hilarious (I'm actually gonna study your animations since they're the style I want to get better at), and the evolving music (especially when the voice came in) was awesome. 

And of course, since this game is something I really like and doesn't have any major flaws, I'm going to nitpick  it. It's not because I don't like the game, it's in fact the opposite! Here goes:

- I wish the snapping minigame was in some way synced with the music, because it was not that satisfying having to press space out of tune with the music.

- I think it's a little BS how the cops can still move while you're in a gang battle, I've lost a few gang members by getting out of a gang battle and the cop being right on top of me.

Overall, great game oozing charm and personality!

This game was really well made. From the art to the music, I can tell a lot of effort was put into this. The gameplay was also fun, but I wish the rhythm part was a little more engaging. I'm also pretty sure this was inspired by the move "West Side Story," and I love that about it.

Best game of the jam so far for me! I loved the animations so much. I particularly enjoyed the way gang members will randomly throw shapes as you stuck around the streets together. Amazing music and the way it ramps up over time as you engage in fights. Clever and so well thought through. I had some trouble getting the gameplay right but got there in the end. My only complaint is that I won before I heard all of the song and had to play again! lol Really brilliant work. Looking forward to seeing more from you  as this was a really original idea and feel.

Awesome work :D! The whole experience was great with the song amplifying while gaining members, I was smiling throughout the game! Also nice presentation on the game page!

This put a smile on my face playing! Fun game and the sound design was pretty solid. I also liked the dancing animations.
