Pretty neat and original game

Submitted

Nice game but sound effects will be a nice addition. Good job tough!

*maybe you would also like to try and maybe rate my submission*

nice game, but not my cup of tea. music and sound effects would add a lot

Nice game, I really miss some sounds or music in this game, I like how the game looks over all and the idea of the game is interesting (and true in the same time). I love the tutorial, it explained everything clearly.

Very nice game! I really like the design and art style of this game! Looks really nice!

I love the aesthetic and the general theming of this game! Like some other people here, though, I wasn't really able to wrap my head around the gameplay. Maybe a more "interactive" tutorial could help with that. There was clearly a lot of effort put into this game's mechanics, though, which I really appreciate.

Thanks!

I like the idea of the classroom, but I'm not sure if I really understood it haha. The art is nice, but some music would be good to. I think it would be better to slowly give the player instructions rather than throwing them all at the player. It's pretty hard to remember what to do when everything is being told at once.

Otherwise, great job!

Appreciate fair feedback :) For this type of game lots of improvements might have been done, will focus on that in future. A good tutorial or/and intuitive mechanics are a key, especially on game jams, as I see, lots of games lack it as mine. Good luck!

Really cool concept and idea. The art style is really nice as well along with the UI. The tutorial I think could be a little bit better though cause some of the mechanics I don't think I fully understood. Anyways great job.

The UI looks really clean and colourful and the concept of the game is interesting, but it was quite hard to understand the benefits of using each part of the game. For example I didn't really use the rewind and forward buttons much - I'm sure they have benefits but it would be nice if this was explained in the tutorial. Speaking of which, the tutorial was really nice and straightforward too.

I had a little a bit of difficulty to understand how play this game. I really appreciate the graphs and the buttons are so clean! Congrats for the work!

I liked this one, although as a teacher my own rating was a disappointing 1.19, which.. Is probably fair, I had some trouble balancing things out. At first I thought I understood what was going on, but I think I missed a few key things. I was trying to balance the meter along the top with colors corresponding to the resource that was the lowest -- but I neglected the loudspeaker button until late in the game, and never used the FF button. I also swapped out cassettes a few times, but aside from maybe semi-randomly changing the sequence along the top, it wasn't clear what benefit one had over the other.

I really liked the visual style, the resource management and the premise. The game was good fun!

Thanks for criticism, appreciate that :)  I saw that cassettes don't differ too much, but didn't want to risk and change it at the very end. Also I forgot to mention in tutorial that you get bonus points for finishing each cassette, so there's actually a reason in pressing FF button

I think the game mechanics are a bit hard to grasp. When making a game for a game jam it is very important that the mechanics are really easy to understand because people don't spend much time per game! (I might be saying this while my game suffers from the same issue xddd) Anyway, the game looks great and I found no bugs. Congrats!

Hi, thanks for the support! Finding a simple yet interesting mechanics is the hardest thing, especially on game jams :)

OK! This one's very interesting! It took me a few games to understand the goal and how the game works! But after that, I loved it! Really a good original concept. Just add audio and tutorials by practicing and it will be perfect! (Special mention for the graphics that really fit with the game!)

Developer

Hi, thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I see that I should have put game goal more clearly

Wow i like the idea it is soo diferent. The art is great too.

Great game! Beautifully simple ui and visuals, but maybe you could have a few more tutorial levels to ease different mechanics into the game? Great game overall!

Game is nice. But i think you can add a music and make some improvements. My performanceis: first i tried disciples ws 0.65 and next try is 3.35.

Loved the short tutorial, absolutely fantastic graphics and UI in general! The colours, the spacing, the visuals all together... great job!

I liked the tutorial! The graphics are amazing, and I would be fine to see them in a steam release. I wish there was audio to show how you were doing, like booing, cheering and silence, but that's not that big of a problem. I also wish there was tests or something so you could compare strategies. Overall, a great game with a self explanatory nature, but a tutorial that perfectly fills in knowledge gaps.

Developer

Hi, thanks for feedback! The audio is thing, I just didn't have time to do it properly so decided not to do it at all :) I definitely have to practice time management in future

Submitted

lol tell me about it I made audio essential in my GMTK jam but it was too quiet and Mark Brown picked my game on stream and just gave up because he couldn’t hear anything and had no idea what to do.
