How does the game fit the theme?
You are trapped on a bunker, and a screen shows you a score goal that you have to reach by rolling the dice. In-between rounds you'll be able to get consumable power-ups, but you'll have to spend (risk) your score to purchase them, in hopes of reaching the next stage in the game (the biscuit).
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Really cool! I think the atmosphere adds a lot. I also really like the green die I got, I think it fits the theme especially well. I do wish I could sell items though. You could really lean into build stuff like balatro with a game like this. Love what is already here and love the potential as well. Congrats!
I was very scared that when I lost there would be a jumpscare… Really nice game and cool atmosphere!
This was super fun! I liked the unsettling vibe. The dice mechanic is simple but really engaging, especially paired with the shop system. Hope you keep working on this, I’d love to play a fuller version!
Thank you for taking the time to play our game! I’ll make sure to play and review yours as well!
I really like the atmosphere where the game is set, it reminds me of SAW. Great job on that! I also enjoyed the audio and the graphics.
I would, however, take a look at the game balance, since items felt a bit cheap and I ran out of storage space after beating level 3.
Nevertheless, I loved the emoji feedback on my dice results, that was a really fun touch!
Thank you for taking the time to play our game and leave a review!
Yeah, definitely the balance is one place where we didn’t spend as much time as we would have liked to. Originally we intended for the item prices to change depending on the target score of the previous level, but we didn’t have time to implement it (much less playtest it to see how it felt).
It might come in future updates, though!
Love the haunting aura and the game mechanics, it got me hooked.
Great stuff.
VERY COOL art style, atmosphere and gameplay. not my main genre but I really like the feel of it all!
GOOD WORK
Really cool game overall! Managed to reach level 4 before running out of luck! Although I haven't tried Balatro or Buckshot Roulette myself, I can see the inspiration elements!
The rolling dice mechanic is very well implemented and I really love the fact that the player needs to carefully make use of the power-ups in order to progress!
Finally I may not be particularly drawn to pixex art, your game has beautiful visuals and by combining the proper sound design, it offers a great experience!
Very well done!
Thank you for playing our game!, we are thinking to make some improve after the gamejam ends, it would be great if you could replay the gme after that :D
I'd be very happy to try it out again!
I'm starting to feel like maybe whoever locked me in this bunker just doesn't want me to succeed for some reason!
Very cool game! I loved the creepy atmosphere contrasting with the cheerful game your were forced to play
Thank you for taking the time to play our game and for writing a review! We’re glad you enjoyed the setting since that contrast was what we were looking for when setting up the map!
We wanted to go in a direction where you couldn’t really explain what was going by mixing the following:
Other settings that we explored involved a more “mundane” approach with the same outcome of being stuck playing the computer game, but we enjoyed the nightmare setting, and we’re glad you did too!
Yeah I think you definitely made an excellent choice with the nightmare setting here! This was not at all what I was expecting and I really enjoyed it :)
Great work!
This game was really fun! It reminded me of Balatro because of the limited amount of rolls you have each round. I also loved the low poly graphics.
Thank you for taking the time to try our game! Yeah, we definitely “borrowed” that from Balatro hahahaha
This is a really cool game, I really need to try out 3D games in godot. I also made a game with skull dice haha. Great job with this one!
Thank you for taking the time to play our game and writing a review! Thanks a lot!
would like if there was a bit more counterplay, "risking it" and saving my gold doesn't really help me at all, as an item might only be $400 even though the goal is $50,000. regardless, it was enjoyable to play.
i would like the ability to sell or reroll items, or even combine them to make them better. it was a bit disappointing only getting a bronze horseshoe on the final round even thought i know i could have gotten a golden one.
atmosphere was pretty good, taking some inspiration from clover pit/side effects/buckshot roulette
nice job
Thank you for playing our game and leaving such a detailed review!
Yeah, the pricing of the items was definitely a place where we had to cut corners due to time constraints; originally, we had envisioned that the items are sold for a fraction of the previous stage’s required score so it would motivate player to beat the score by as much as possible in order comfortably buy power-ups without straying too far from the score goal of the next stage.
Selling and rerolling items is a great suggestion that we’ve heard a few times now and we’ll absolutely include in future updates to the game. Combining them sounds GREAT, to be honest with you so we’ll definitely look into that (maybe setting up a “grinder” that allows you to grind multiple items in order to create a new powerful one).
From one dice game to an other, really fun! and immersive, I wish it was a bit harder, but for the sake of the jam, perfectly done
Thank you for testing our game! Yeah, we definitely toned down the difficulty for the jam entry because we wanted everyone to have a good time playing our game.
This is such an immersive game!! I had so much fun with it, and the objects in the shop are definitely what make it so engaging! The whole atmosphere is amazing and the art is so cool. It was so silly when the door opened and it was the biscuit! Really fun, I'm giving one of my best ratings yet!
Thank you for playing our game and for taking the time of leaving such a lovely review!
Cute rolling system. Feels like playing with those popping mechanisms in old board games. Fun to engage with though I didn't feel like I was doing much from a strategic point of view. If I could see what the dice setup for the next round was before making purchases, or being able to use a powerup after rolling instead of before I think I would have felt more influence over the game, since currently it feels like you're buying an advantage, and can simply use it any turn, beyond perhaps saving the last will to use it only in a round you may really need it.
Thank you for playing our game and for the detailed review!
Yeah, there were a few things that were left out due to time constraints. We hadn’t thought about showing the dice setup BEFORE the next stage so we’ll definitely look into that suggestion since it absolutely grants the user more influence over the result!
Hi, the ambience is really creepy, even tho at the end nothing really popped out at the door I was preparing myself to face something unsettling. I really like the atmosphere, great work!
Thank you so much for playing the game! We never thought about putting something creepy, but you just give me an idea, maybe when you lose, something could come out that door. xD
Your game's interface is very good, and it has a really cool ambiance! It's very responsive, with visual and sound feedback. Your game is really good. I didn't spend much time with it, to be honest, because I'm not a big fan of dice games, but the little I saw was quite enjoyable because of the atmosphere.
Thank you for playing our game and taking the time to leave a comment!
This game is amazing I’m shocked that 2 people can make such a good game, the gameplay is simple to pickup and very enjoyable, the visuals and atmosphere is A+ and It has a very high replay value, reminds me a bit of BuckshootRoulette
you even thought of a timer that looks if all dice are on the ground and if not you just AddForce to prevent a softlock, Very Nice
5/5 in everything in my opinion
You are really amazing, Great Work
Thank you so much for playing our game!, in fact Buckshoot Roulette was part of the inspiration, we are so glad that you enjoyed the game. We are thinking to add more content in the future 😁
Do it, the comments had some great ideas like the ability to sell items is very nice, add a bit more depth (more items) and you could release it on steam I think many people would buy and enjoy it I would too :)
Nice Game! Reminds me of some other games which involve gambling combined with items to boost your reward
Sometimes I got stuck with bad upgrades tho as I wasn't able to sell them
Thank you for playing our game! ✨
The suggestion to allow selling items is something that we’ve heard a few times now so we’ll definitely make it a reality! Personally, I experienced a similar situation of being stuck with bad items in the latest stages of playtesting, but we didn’t have time to code the item selling feature before the jam ended.
how did you even come up with this, very nice! i can see the similarities to buckshot roulette, howverver this games lighter tone definatly fits the silly idea, great execution, maybe the game felt a bit too slow sometimes? the games was at its most fun when rolling high dices for a very high ridk, restarting and going through the early repetitive rools feels a bit too slow.
this type of game is what i enjoy most out of game jams, fun concepts with fun executions
Thank you for playing our game and providing such a detailed review! Yeah, we definitely agree that the beginning feels a little bit slow, but since we didn’t really include a tutorial we needed to give the players time to “understand” how to play and give them time to use the power-ups before introducing the dice; it’s definitely something we have to improve, though, so THANK YOU FOR THE OBSERVATION!
Straightforward and intuitive gameplay. I like the powerup system and the vibe of the game.
During one of my rolls, one of the dice wouldn't land properly, so I started wondering "Am I gonna get stuck here?" but then it moved by itself, I thought that was a nice touch. Perhaps not the most life-like way to solve this issue but still effective.
I was fairly impressed by this game, good job!
Thank you for testing our game! ✨
Yeah, that’s “dice stuck” situation is something that we took into account; you wouldn’t believe how puzzling it was to resolve the additional problem this “re-roll” situation introduced: sometimes, when the dice re-rolled it moved THE OTHER dice due to physics and we had to retrigger the face calculation logic all over again! Fun times!
