How does the game fit the theme?
As mayor, you risk getting removed from office just so you can plunder taxpayers' money. You will then risk that money to fund your gacha hobbies, and the gacha characters are biscuit-themed :)
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything was made during the jam, except the sound effects, which we got from mixkit.co.

Really good implementation of risk element. art is really good especially with unique char designs and the pull animation took me by surprize, it was very well done.
Maybe a nitpick: 2nd pull of same char could give less points otherwise i kinda dont mind if its same a tier or the one i couldnt have for 4-5 playthrough. Good work!
First run through felt a little unrealistic when my suspicion bar was at 150 and somehow I was thrown out of office? What kind of fantasy land does this take place in? 😭 It got a lot less interesting when I realized I could basically bully my advisors and speed run the gacha, maybe I got lucky the second time with a couple UR pulls (I am really good at it).
Definitely would’ve loved the pace to be sped up a lot more, and the sound on gacha pulls was way too loud compared to everything else. Music was okay but repetitive.
Obviously the art and visual polish is really amazingly well done, though! I know what an undertaking that must have been, and y’all knocked it out of the park!

Also, sorry, but you technically lost already the moment you got to 100 suspicion, suspicion starts at 0 and you lose at 100, it’s our fault tho, we should’ve explained the suspicion and loyalty mechanics somewhere in the tutorial. Oh I know, I was just making a joke about how unrealistic it felt to be kicked out of office with “only” 150 suspicion while in the real world it seems like politicians get scores in the thousands and yet somehow they stay in office 👀

Genuinely insane polish. Congrats to the team, you're all cracked! Really addicting game loop and pretty funny, could see this kind of concept being expanded into a full game, biscuit-themed or not.
I do feel some of the transition animations are a bit long, and would be nice to have a couple more different characters offering proposals, because it seems like there are only two or three? These are so minor though it doesn't really take away from the experience at all.
What a fun game. Who knew that all you need to become the bestest boy at online gaming is to run for mayor and help your definitely-not-a-crocodile-in-disguise friends take advantage of the public?!

Getting UR in my first gacha motivate me to go deeper and deeper! Pretty game, the UI and mechanic is pretty solid and interactive. Great games!

Fun civil corruption simulator! I siphoned people's hard earned tax money to buy imaginary cartoon characters and they loved me for it! Everything looks and sounds really nice!
