Very enjoyable! Lots of little details to discover!

Kinda addictive, will come back for more 🙈
One little issue I experienced was that the cows can walk off screen.

Got a score of 42! Fun game with a really good difficulty curve!

Cute game! Love the art style!

I like the idea! Controls are very smooth and precise! Nice game all around!

My apologies! I ran out of time, so the instructions are not very good 🙈
I'm happy to hear that you had some fun with it nonetheless. Thanks for playing :)

I'm happy that you had fun with the idea, and I'm impressed that you found a way to beat the game! I failed constantly 🙈
Someone suggested adding an end-game goal that allows to actually finish it. So more to come :)

I got much more positive feedback on the idea than I expected, so I definitely plan to add some more features:

  1. Visualise village and villagers
  2. Auto farming by the villagers
  3. A few more crops (and possibly some random bushes and trees with edible fruit).
  4. Music and sound effects
  5. Random island generation

Appreciate your feedback and thanks for playing :)

I'm sorry to hear that!
The idea of the game is to keep your village (that you can't see) alive as long as possible. You plant and harvest crops (well, only wheat, actually). And the volcano will destroy everything in its way when it erupts.

Agreed! I didn't have enough time for the sounds and music :(
I intend to finish the game once the voting is over.
Thanks for playing :)

Happy that you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing :)

Thanks! Appreciate the kind words!

I think you are the first one to say it is too easy 😅
Thanks for the suggestions! An end-goal makes a lot of sense! And I can see how just watching them doing their thing might be quite mesmerising! I like it a lot!

What a marvel! Impressive for just a week of work!

Not a big fan of puzzle games, but the execution is awesome!
It is fun and very cute! I agree, this is a gem that should be seen by more!

It's tooooo dark :(
I really wanted to give it a try, but the game is so dark that I can't see anything.
Please adjust the lighting and I'm happy to give it another try.

I really like this game! It's a neat idea, and the implemented systems work very well.

Lovely little endless runner, with a bit of a "Space Invaders" vibe.
The only problem I found is that WASD isn't working, making the first try very short.

Same here, please check your scene settings under your build settings. Happy to give it a go once working :)

This is one of the most hilarious (and honest) game descriptions I've ever read! 🤣

Although it's quite barebones, I actually played for almost 15 minutes. The graphic is "top-notch", and the cars flying over the highway are definitely fun to watch!

Keep the chaos and build on it. I think you can make something quite enjoyable from this humble start!

Good luck to you, too!

Agreed, the difficulty is ridiculous. The plan was to start off easy and increase, but alas, time had other plans 🙈
I plan to balance the game better and add some more elements, such as sound effects and music, different crops, and visualise the village and villagers.

Appreciate your feedback. And yes, you are right, this was my first attempt at a Game Jam.

"Doggy nooo", I felt that 🤣
Fun little game and super unique art style.

It turns out that my left-right-hand-click-coordination is basically non-existent 🙈
LOVE the art style! Spot on sound effects and background music.

Thanks for the feedback!
The game is at the moment not too well balanced and starts off pretty difficult, so 11 seasons is not too bad 😉
You aren't the first to point out that the instructions aren't clear enough. I will provide better ones in an update.

I'm happy that you enjoyed yourself despite the shortcomings. 😊

I didn't have time for the sound anymore. The Volcano was supposed to have smoke, which increases with the likelihood of an eruption.
I plan to add both to an update.

Thanks for your feedback! Much appreciated.

I can see how getting the seeds is not very obvious, especially as you start without any seeds.

I will make that clearer in the next release 😊
Appreciate your feedback!

Well done! It's definitly enjoyable!

What a game! The visuals, sound and story are amazing!
Impressive for just one week! Enjoyed it a lot, and played more than once 😃

Appreciate the feedback ☺️

I intend to polish it after the jam with clearer instructions, fix a few bugs, add sounds, and now have a look into "pixel-perfect" 😅

Not a huge fan of platformers, but it's fun to play. I probably died muuuuch faster than one should expect 🤣

I ran out of time, so the instructions are somewhat confusing 🙈
Appreciate the feedback ☺️

Is it possible that the base mechanics aren't working? Shooting isn't doing anything to the rats. The hot boxes of the rats seem to be gigantic.

Fun little game, it started rather slow but picked up the pace quite quickly. Got 145 🥳

I think a good place to start exploring the term itself could be the Cambridge Dictionary.

As per this entry it could be health, economy and law. Where health isn’t restricted to living creatures but also includes objects (like cars).

It might also be worth having a look at synonyms for further brainstorming of ideas or to get an alternative point of view.

From the limitation section:

Q: Is this arrow keys and two buttons?
A: no, that's 6 buttons!

In your case, the arrow keys make for 4 buttons, which would violate the limitation.
