Ranked from 31 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
Every round you completed you can choose to upgrade your speed or 2x your current upgrade points you only get 1 per round so doubling it is quite advisable if you can play with lower speed

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Most of the code was written and thought of by me I used some old code like the "Cheat Script" I made a while ago and the Player Controller that Brackey made but of course I adapted and rewrote most of it as you know your player controller was always moving, couldn't move back and didn't really react to colliders because it was written in "transform" and not "rb.AddForce" I changed that

I bought almost all 3D assets the only thing I made was the UFO and the arrows for the compass

The music was made by MariKami
And the WAP logo by LyriaKey

love it! keep up the good work!

The game has very nice look and feel to it - I really like the map being a tiny planet with light and dark side. The initial speed could be higher, with faster enemies, to allow some thrilling pursuits right away!

Developer

Yes faster base enemys will come in the future :) Thanks for the feedback

pretty nice idea!

Things to feedback:

- maybe always toshow where the enemy and the portals are?

- allow player to move the camera with the mouse so can look back while moving

Developer

Yeah thats a good idea i think I will show where the enemy is and when hes following you I will switch to the other arrow and mouselook will come too Thanks :)

Love the little intro at the beginning. Thought it was funny. Although I do have an issue with the controls with the game. While people were talking about the game's jumping mechanic it felt a bit weird at the start of the game. Also a bit disorienting in a way!

I really liked the SRun! It was a lot of fun to run after the green sheep and then lead them into a trap!

It's just a little annoying that you can't walk on the bridge (I died because of it).

Interesting fact: in Russian, "srun" (spelled "срун") means "a man who pooped a lot" :)

Yeah that was a bug I noticed to late… sorry and thats great I will remember that, in fact I’m thinking about using such names on purpose in the next games xD

This game’s theme? Pure genius. A spherical map? Yes please, it felt fresh and oddly satisfying to navigate. And the low gravity? Chef’s kiss. Made every jump and stumble feel intentional… and kinda hilarious. Movement was tricky in the best way, reminded me of kiting dinos into traps in Ark, but with way less screaming (usually).

Only tiny hiccup: when I hit space, the camera does a little surprise hop. Not game-breaking, just… dramatic. Other than that? Had a blast sheeping around (yes, that’s now a verb).

Lovely, inventive, and weirdly addictive. Great job, keep it up!

Love the minecraft-looking sheep (same for the visuals overall). Bugwise, the only thing I found is that when pressing space, the camera jumps suddenly. Besides that, I had fun sheeping around. Nice work!

Really awesome theme! I like the map being a sphere. I also liked that you could feel the lower gravity so it was more challenging to move around. The core gameplay reminded me of Ark Survival Evolved where you have to kite your dinos into traps! Overall lovely job!

I love the visuals and music is pretty good. The gameplay idea is really fun, but sadly I find really difficult to get the enemies to hunt me without getting killed. Overall I will say it's a great game.

Nice introduction, I like the vibes. The movement is a bit harsh in my opinion. Would love to see this idea expanded!

Submitted

Such a unique idea and the controls really make the gameplay interesting!

Submitted

How charming, I love the idea, looking forward to see more!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback I will finis it with some fixes after the GameJam :)

I'm not the first to call this cute and I hope I'm not the last. The whole theme of this game is just really charming and I like the idea of using yourself as bait.  Would've loved to see where this went if only you had more time

Developer

If you check on the game in a month you can see where it goes, I want to work on it a bit more maybe another week and than release it for free

I want to

Add Eatable mushrooms in the map that give a speed boost (that can be upgraded) Fix the jump Make the UI and gameplay more intuitive add a character select screen and do some small fixes and additions

Thanks for the feedback :)

Visuals and intro animations are TOP! Very fun to play!

Quick Suggestions:

  • After restarting the enemy that killed me was already there and I had no chance to escape...maybe spawn in another location?
  • The compas is a bit distracting with the 2 arrows..I think one would be enough showing the nearest!

Nice Game Well Done!

Wait nevermind, I'm actually tweaking. I got a notification from Itch.io, and I opened it to this comment so I thought this was in relation to my game. My bad 😭😭😭

Developer(+1)

Yeah setting the player to the start position would be my fix for this but I didn’t have enough time and the purple compass shows you the trap and the green one the enemies but yeah I need to improve it a bit maybe make a button for checking the ghost sheep location and another button for showing the trap sphere

Thanks for the feedback :)

I LOVED the intro, the vibes reminded of sims 2 on ds and also kinda alan wake: american nightmare gameplay wise, i struggled a bit with my french keyboard to activate the compasse but other than that i didn't face any big issue!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for the feedback I had a 360 as a kid and always saw that alan wakes american nightmare game but never looked into it… looks nice think I will try it soon, thanks for remembering me of my childhood games even if I didn’t play them it feels very nostalgic :)

Great game! Really liked it :)

The intro  cutscene was really funny lmao, also well made!

The game was pretty good, but I did face issues trying to follow the compass. The arrows were at an angle where it was kinda hard to know where they were pointing

Id also like to get a feature so we can use the mouse to look around

Also I noticed the jump is kinda broken? Like it snaps you and nothing happens

Other than that, it was pretty well made overall :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback :)

yeah I did the jump very late so I didn’t have enough time to make it smooth I used AddForce(0, JumpForce, 0, ForceMode.Impact) and I think “Impact” is not that good for jumps… idk to be honest

Mouse look will come too (thought the same thing while making it but time was short I work fulltime 6 days a week) I will implement a few more features like eatable mushrooms fix the jump make a LookAroundScript and do some small fixes

Submitted

The models look great! Love the sheep sounds!

Submitted

Cute intro! Liked how it fit the theme, keen to see if you expand upon it with different powerups :)

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for the feedback :) My plan is to add eatable mushrooms (for a temporary speed boost), free mouse look, fix the jump and fix some smaller things that I noticed but didn’t fix and than release it for free

Submitted

A very cute and interesting game! I was hoping for more content, because its only upgrade is speed, which didn't affect the gameplay that much. ><

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback

Yeah I know I was thinking about implementing a mushroom that you could upgrade, than find in the world and eat to get a temporary speed boost

Your game plays amazing, I really liked the animations too :)
