I did not make the royalty free scream, the chewing sound effect and the flexatone sound effect. I also downloaded the font.

Awesome work! It would be cool if you added a leader board, Only other thing is adding more ways to distract the neighbor would also be nice so it gives you more time to hide cause right now the best you can do is run and 90% of the times I was caught. Deserves way more reviews

I can't believe you guys just recreated the whole overcooked food handling mechanic, this is so impressive! With the additional twist of avoiding the neighbour this feels even better. I don't know what to critique - this is almost an perfect game jam entry, I did wanted to say that he's a bit of a camper just camping my god damn eggs, but its actually really easy to lure him if you need to get somewhere and then just hide in a closet if things get out of hand. I also love the way music subtlety changes when exiting the "tutorial" phase.
The theme interpretation is very amazing, and the gameplay mechanic is solid and pretty neat! Love how each the UI information gave exactly everything i need. Great game!
Love your theme interpretation. The hand drawn art is really cute. It has so much character. Definitely true for the tutorial.
The music's super playful. It goes really well with the tone of the game. Great music transition when the neighbour wakes up.

The humour works perfectly with the art style and music, and the gameplay is really interesting.
The only thing think could improve this is better balancing, as it stands it felt like the cookies didn't give enough time, so increasing that would help a bit.
Otherwise this is incredible, and severely underrated.
Everything from the music to the art is made me wow. The tutorial made it so easy to pick up and play. This is definitely a hidden gem.

At first you think to yourself "Ohh this is just Overcooked" but NAAAH this is an action packed, neighbor drama about a guy who just loves cookies and wants to bake some in a beautiful super over 5000 <3

When The neighbour appears I get Pacman vibes and try to hide asap...nice touch to throw in a bigger image of him catching us!

Not gonna lie, I skipped the some of the tutorial but somehow still managed to understand how the game worked. Managed to make and eat 3 biscuits before I lost my appetite! More fun than I expected!
Loved the artstyle, the hand-drawn look is really well done. At first I struggled a bit, but then I discovered what I call the ‘oven strategy’ 😅. Not sure if it was intentional, but when I pass in front of the oven, the neighbor closes it even if they’re chasing me and this gave me huge amount of time to escape. With that tactic it’s pretty easy to farm points. Would’ve been nice to also see how many biscuit I ate during the run. Anyway, for a first jam game this is crazy game, congrats. Got a score of 271 and the cops drop all my charges because of my high score.

Btw, you can see how many biscuits you ate. The stats screen shows the number of biscuits you ate, your score and your high score. I really liked your game as well!
Holy moly this is great! Love the art, the music, and the gameplay is creative, simple, and fun!The only thing I would add is a clearer way to know how many things you are currently holding, as I sometimes found it a little hard to tell, but honestly, I feel like that was part of the fun!
