I'm not in this jam, so I can't rate it. But it's a tight fun mechanic, and great game loop that's scoped well for a jam, especially in a new (?) engine. It looks like you touched all of UE's systems, even AI. Good job and good luck with Unreal.

Cool game, but WAY too many pop-ups in my face while I'm trying to just play.

Congrats on the Visuals result. Quite deserved!

Rated. I hope you get 20 and good l in the jam.

Of course there wasn't much to it, but the models were great and you made them yourself. That's a thing. The movement and interaction worked great. And the voice narration was perfectly in synch with the text. Good job and good luck in the jam!

That was fun. I like the adorable art and level design. Jank-free controls. I wish I could give some criticism, but nope. Good job, and good luck in the jam!

Grumpy could use some love. Here's our silly nonsense:

That was awesome. Gorgeous. I loved the art and the music. And the little tweeting animations gave it a nice feel. This is one of those that you zone out with and then suddenly you get a message that you're late for lunch.  Perfection. I hope you guys to well in the jam!

Thanks! I appreciate your kind words and feedback. Good luck in the jam!

I'm speaking only for myself, but I'm on a Mac. I'd love to download and try many of the downloadable games, but there is rarely a Mac export for it so I have to skip it. My point is that if your issue is that no one downloads your game, then you'll need to also consider the platforms people use.

You game looks great btw!

Thanks so much! I appreciate your feedback. You're a board game guy, so I'll tell you that if you look closely, this game is pretty much Space Hulk, the board game version, but with rats. Oleksandra's art is the best part of this game, for sure. She'll appreciate your kind words.

Awesome. I love board games. I have a collection of them. And you implemented it very well. Loved the  little cookie guys :) Good work and good luck in the jam!

Thanks for taking the time to give us some feedback. I appreciate it. Good luck in the jam!

That was fun. Cute art. My favorite thing was the audience, but I don't know why. Good job, and good luck in the jam!

That's a great idea. I love the concept. That could be an addictive puzzle game. Great art and use of music. Well done and good luck in the jam.

Adorable. I love the art, and that you made it yourself along with the coding. That's a thing. The tinkling walking audio made me smile. Good luck in the jam!

Well thanks for that. I appreciate your time and feedback. Yep, a bug. It has been fixed along with several other things. I'm eager to push an update after the jam because this is just embarrassing. :) Thanks so much for checking it out, and good luck in the jam!

That's great! You could have made a platformer and it would have been fun, but then you went the extra mile with the Windows stuff. It made me laugh and it was a joy to play. Good luck in the jam!

Groovy, thanks so much. I appreciate your time. Good luck in the jam!

The chef guy is adorable. Smooth controls with no jank. And I like the you wrote the code and did the art yourself during the jam. That's a thing. Good work, and good luck in the jam!

We're trying to hit 50. Just one more! Why doest it matter? It doesn't at all, but we're so close it's maddening. :)
Here's our freak show nightmare:

That was a fun little platformer. Good level design and art.

Here's our disaster:

I loved the art and the mini games were fun. I'm quite stupid, so I needed a simpler entry point that would add new concepts over time. But your talent was apparent.

That was fun. Cute little guy and good level design. Put together very nicely. Good luck in the jam!

Kity! Played and rated.

Here's our attempt at a cute kitty game.

Yay kitty game! I like the visual style a lot. So cute. I liked that you used lighting too.  It is hard, but that's okay.

I had an issue with level not filling the canvas correctly, but that's all.

I liked this one. I hope it gets more visibility. It's super fun. Not a lot of driving games in this jam.

Awesome. There are a lot of good games and talented devs in this jam. This was my first jam too and my excuse to check out Godot.

Here's our stupid nonsense thingy:

Thank you! I agree with all your suggestions, except more ammo. ;)

This is super addictive and fun. I love the art.

Neat! Great mechanics and graphics. Cute little guy. This was one of the most addicting games in the jam that I've played.

Played and rated yours and a few others in the replies too.

Here's our silly nonsense.

That was fun and stressful in a good way. Am I weird that my favorite aspect of this game is the drawn art? It has charm.

That was great. I liked the news popups, and the stress of the constantly changing prices. I made a killing in lumber and ducks. Good luck in the jam!

This game is crazy addictive. I'll need rehab.

Ha. Thanks so much. Yes, you've figure out the secret. The map starts off sparse, but the rats eventually seep into the map and swarm all over, and the Boomers will have block your routes and slowed you down. We're going to shake things up with Bruiser Rats, all muscles and commando with guns. And Brainey Rats that plant laser traps on walls and lay down turrets. Who knows, it might turn into a fun little game  with some additional time and effort.  I aprpeciate your giving it a shot
Good luck in the jam. I played and rated yours. High innovation score. I loved that mechanic.

Thanks so much. I played and rated yours, but could not comment (a malicious false report was made because someone didn't like an aspect of my profile picture). I loved Mr. Biscuit the character. I like imaginative whacky stuff like that. My brain went off wondering who would take a cookie prisoner just to torment the player instead of eating him. It was put together well and controlled nicely.

Thank you! I played and rated your game too, but couldn't comment. That was your first game? In a week? Great job. You made a fun playable level and a complete game with a cute controllable character, enemies that move around, collision and everything. I hope you had fun with it so that you'll make at least one iteration and post it. I'll play that sucker. Excellent work.

Thanks so much. I played and rated your game, but some a-hole doesn't like my profile image and made false reports on my account, blocking me from commenting temporarily. (I've asked asked for the warning to be reviewed since I've been nothing but positive and violated no terms.) Here is what I tried to post on your review page:
Adorable and tight. I liked the attention to detail. Little things like the smooth transitions and the tweening animation of the buttons made it feel polished.  I wish I could give some criticisms for you, but you simply did a great job on everything. Good luck in the jam!
