This was a super fun game. I really like the risk reward of the upgrade and bug system. It's also cool that you can remove bugs if you want to. That controller inversion bug is diabolical. I would've liked the enemies to start spawning over time cuz I felt pretty much immortal by wave 15 or so with my upgrades. Great work on this, I had a lot of fun blasting enemies in the murder corridor as they walked into it lol.
I love the upgrade/bug system, made you really think about if you needed the buffs or not. I also loved that you had to step in your victims blood to heal haha! Also loved the variety in enemies.
So much fun! Really well polished entry and the sound and visuals were PERFECT.EXE. Gameplay loops very addictive.
I like the twist on upgrades having the option to remove a debuff from an earlier upgrade. Other than that it felt pretty basic, but a great achievement for a one week project.
I really liked the idea but I got stuck on wave 1. The enemies were invisible and could not do anything. But really nice game.
It is a bug we are currently aware of just refresh the page and it should fix
Nice idea, I loved the intro.
I really loved the voice acting and the idea is pretty cool! The movement and only being able to shoot in four directions was a bit frustrating sometimes though. (also its a small thing but I LOVE the leveling up animation it looks sick)
Here is my review :

I don’t claim to have the best solution, but here are my suggestions:
👉 First, when you press tab, you show the robot's stats. Usually, games of this style make sure that all upgrades are visually represented. For example, for latency in controls, we could think about adding a latency bar or a network icon that decreases when you take that upgrade, reaching red when the robot hits max latency. This could be applied to all skills, so visually, the player could see things like their attack stats, how many critical hits they have, with maybe a damage indicator on enemies. All of this could be done while keeping the stats table, for players who want more detailed info on their stats.
I hope your game goes far because it deserves it. It’s very well developed for a week of work well done for that ! 👍
That’s all from me. If you want to check out my game and rate it, it's much less developed and complete than yours, but it tells a story that maybe isn't told enough (if you test it please download the Windows version and not the web version, or you won't understand anything) 👍
Loved the art style and SFX! The gameplay is a little hard to get used to but once I did I couldn't stop playing. Very cool game! :D
Fun survivors style game, just the right amount of slightly annoying (controls, movement, aim) to make it addictive!
Great game. Especially enjoyed the sound and intro cutscene. Very entertaining!
LOVE SURVIVORS LIKE! It was fun. I think it bugged some and I got hit by some invisible things and died but it was fun none the less! Great job!
Great game !
Really enjoyed the upgrade system and negative and positive sides of upgrades : )
This is not usually the style of games I play, but this game is really funny and I enjoyed playing it. I especially like the design of the robot:)
Had to update the project to fix a game-breaking bug causing the enemy not to be visible.
Well doe! I played the game with loud audio at the beginning and all the people in my house started laughing, the gameplay is fun, the upgrades kept me invested. I liked the design of the barrel rolling enemy. Fun!
nice take on the theme and nice intro and story line at the beginging :)
DAMN! thats fucking awesome
the music and visuals are amazing and genuinly only thing bad i saw was the fact that i had one enemy be invisible at the start and i couldnt kill it but other than that taht game is fucking amazing
Hey! Thank you so much <3
We're aware of the invisible guy bug, we're trying to find a fix for it right now and will update the game as soon as we fix it.
Thanks for playing & we're glad you had a good time :)
Really impressive level of polish for a game jam, great job! It would be nice to have information about the previous buffs and debuffs you’ve gotten when choosing an upgrade, and I think with the current values the buffs don’t feel like they’re giving too much of an advantage (compared to the effect of the debuffs) so I think they may need to be strengthened to balance against removing previous debuffs.
Great voice acting and a pretty fun gameplay. Also the idea of a robot that heals using blood is really cool too
